Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Great Britain the source of the anti-slavery movement? As a British person I dislike that stereotype, the age of imperialism is gone and the UK is a thoroughly multi-racial society now and we're proud of it. Anywho back on topic, to remove the program you can always try using control + alt + del and deleting the process from there if you're on a windows based machine. That way it automatically restarts each time you restart the computer hence making the whole avoidance thing a non-issue but make sure you clear out all of your history & temporary internet files (although it may still pick those up despite it afterwards).
