Hopefully Nintendo dosen't just do what they usually do, like look at the sales numbers for the DS headset, which probably arn't that good, (I dunno, they might be, but I hadn't even heard of it before that IGN artical) and go..

"OOP! PEOPLE DON'T WANT HEADSETS! CASE CLOSED."

That's what they do alot

Again IGN has a slow news day and doesn't know how to spend it.

I swear you'd think they'd still be busy taking the foot out of their collective mouth over the Metroid debacle.

Jaysonguy

They said they were doing this 2 weeks ago. Did they see into the future to know this day would be a slow news day or something?

Yes, the day they did this they had nothing better to do. lol

Later they're going to call up water and say it's wet followed by a conference call with a lemon to declare it's sour.

IGN has really gone out of it's way to bend over backwards to the Wii owners and I think it's to Wii owners detriment. Everything from subtle shots at places like this to their rating of the Virtual Console games that are nothing but fan service. They forgot to be neutral since the Wii has been launched.

I don't want to turn this into a rant and take Haz's thread off topic that he took the time out of his night to make.

Wow dude, don't be such a fanboy.

Everyone knows that the Wii needs a head set, your just made because IGN pointed it out.

IGN is alot more supportive of the wii than say, gamespot, the place we're at right now

yeh, nintendo is really behind in hyping it's games. They expect the internet to do it for them, which it has only worked for games like brawl.

Remember when you almost got chills lookin at the Tv with awesome commercials like these?

"willist thou suck?" hahaha, damn, Nintendo had some more balls back then.

And it payed off, that game like freakin exploded and sold like crazy

Which one are you gonna pick up?

BWii comes out earlier, and is made by the advance wars team, which I love, is online, (I don't know how many people though) and just looks fun. I've Never played the original BW though.

MoHH2 on the other hand, looks awesome, 32 player online which is a huge selling point for me, and sites like IGN and such are saying that they are REALLY nailing the controls as good as Retro did with Metroid Prime, and some are even saying that they prefer it to Airborne. Oh yeh, and you can use the cool peice of plastic, the zapper.

Which One are you leaning towards? I want BWii for originalty, online, and just plain fun.

But MoHH2 for the awesome online, kick ass controls, and just the great previews it's getting.

I don't know why Nintendo named this game SMW2 when the game had no connections at all on SMW or any Mario platformer. You control Yoshi and his back there's the annoying baby mario that cried when he dropped off the back. It should have been only called Yoshi's Island. chris3116

It was the prequel to SMW.

No but certain games like MOHH2 and Umbrerlla chronicals work alot better with the Zapper, and if you want to play with mroe than one person, you've gotta buy more than one.

And the funny thing is, the zapper actually DECREASES the amount of things you can do with the wiimote/nunchuck, scince it basically makes all the buttons on the wiimote useless

Duckman5

You don't know that yet. I would rather have the wii remote and nunchuck gestures over the zapper.

They stated at the press conference that those games were specially designed for the zapper
