I myself am Arab, and with all the Arabic references in the game, it makes it that much better for me. Altair, the main character is an Arabic word, which means, "the flying one", or the "flyer". When I realized that, I went crazy, and got even more happy. His full name is Altair Ibn- La ahad. Ibn means son, and la-ahad means no one. So in full terms, he's Altair- the flyer, Ibn la-ahad, which is son of the no one. So in English terms, he's the flyer, the son of no one. Lol, hope you liked the lesson. These little aspects of the game make me appreciate it so much greater. It makes my culture feel appreciated. I hope I can find some Arabic words scattered across the vast world of Assassin's Creed, which are sure to make me jump up in joy.
