no offense but thats a pretty bizarre opinion. i don't even think you played COD4, if you would have you would know that playing a free for all is pretty isolating. that and the fact that the game crushes any of those older FPSs you mentioned.

I played all those older games as a kid, spent many hours on them. All I could tell you is that the FPSs of today are what I wished they were back then. Nostalgia is a great thing but we must move forward.
