Whats the point? From the spec sheet, all that is different (between the 60GB and the 80GB) is the HDD size. Why bother when you can just change the HDD anyway with a HDD of your own choosing (so long as it is 2.5" SATA).
If they stick to that conversion rate, it looks like there might be a price drop. But seeing as how the price for a 60GB varies worldwide, I'm not sure there will be a price drop when this new SKU retails (if it does infact come to retail).

Yup, no EE Chip and an extra 20gb. I am glad I got my PS3 when I did, I have a ton of PS1 and PS2 games that work perfectly.
