I'm sorry but I already know of several instances of the Halo 3 S. ed. just having as many if not more of problems as older models . Its just 120g instead of 20, still the same pain.

Everything i've read on this thread brings me to this conclusion you don't BUY a 360 as much as you rent it. You should first buy a 360 at GAMESTOP/EB and the one year insurance from them (not Microsoft) which is $50 and even if it does not break in the first year (which it most likely will, and if not it is almost certain it will break on the 2nd year)) bring it back and say its broken and they will hand u over a new 360 ,and buy a new $50 insurance policy on that one . So u will be spending $50 a year to have a 360. I know its harsh but until something is done about the hardware...

P.S trade the entire 360 including harddrive I'm on my 3rd 360 and my last one had a harddrive & motherboard error.

my 360 just broke on meyesturday. it always the same problem to, something with the disctray everytime i put my game in it makes loud noise and it seems like my disc is like jumping inside, after a few seconds it wont read my disc. "unplayable disc"

so yeah.. just waiting for my box to come. going to be my second repair and 4th xbox 360.

It's sad I'm on my 3rd 360. Microsoft is not even trying to fix the the problems my 3rd one is more cheaply made and i can tell there are going to be overheating issues with it and have had it less then a week. to bad I love everygame I've bought for it ; and Xbox live

I got 2 360s from bestbuy, both with issues, one (mine)has a busted drive which is a douche to open and it sometimes doesnt turn off then the (bros) other totally cracks the living hell out of games, my question, since i got insurance for these 2 bad boys couldnt i just take em to bestbuy and get them replaced rather than dishin em out to microsoft for repairs?

Also does microsoft only cover its own games and not other 3rd party games when their system cracks discs, cracked discs so far: Gears of War(2), Rainbow Six Vegas, friends fresh copy of The Darkness, and a buttload of other games from Blockbuster and Hastings

I don't kno what bestbuy policy is but if its's anything like Gamestop, and u really bought protection from Bestbuy (not microsoft) and its be4 the policy runs out and you have the receipts... I see no reason why u can't walk out of Bestbuy with two new 360s

Cracked discs that is harsh

Hey all of the complaints I've heard on this thread about sending their broken 360 back to Microsoft, from either not getting it back or at best getting a refurbished one that doesn't even have insureance, read my first post on the top of page 523 of this thread. Gamestop gives u a brand new one, and you can buy insurance again for it, have it the same or next day it breaks( whenever you want to walk in the store). You don't kno what your getting back from microsoft and have to wait weeks at times.
