So a few of the fighting mechanics can get repetative and really frustrating because of the constant counters and your inability to grab bruisers as I call them. But the game doesn't always keep you locked into the formula. Going on a drug bust against 30 guys with knives just bring a car and roadkill them all instead. Much easier and very entertaining.

Beat XCOM

Beat XCOM on normal difficulty, 2 Support (Medics), 2 Assault (Run and Shotgun), 2 Snipers (Double Tap rules). Nothing special about my play through, I will probably go for Classic next, then Classic with Iron man on. Game is fun, but there aren't really any variations on research everything is pretty linear. Still its enjoyable when you're mowing down enemies and setting up perfect flanks against the enemy.
Still working on my first Dishonored playthrough.
Just a small note about Medal of Honor. The first Medal of Honor modern reboot was awful in my opinion. To tell you the truth I didn't get more then 10 minutes into the game before I gave up. Today I have looked on IGN, Gamespot, Metacritic and not a review and to be seen or a score to be had. I smiled when I saw that, confident in my decision to not pre-order the game when asked by a Gamestop cashier. No reviews on release day is not a good sign, better wait for Halo 4 instead.
X-Com / Dishonored

Right now I am playing X-Com: Enemy Unknown and Dishonored. They are both good games but I have to say I am a bit disappointed with the depth of the game. Not length or amount of content, I just expect there to be "more to it." There doesn't seem to be enough variation in technology or research in X-Com and just not enough power to play with in Dishonored. I had high hopes for these games as the mass of shooters like Halo 4, Black Ops 2, and Far Cry 3 all approach (I am getting all of them anyway).
Well I hope Hitman is good...
