hey guys!:) I'm sorry i haven't been on in a loooong time, life in general has been draining me. but i'll try to be on more often and check in :)

I figured i might as well start over, since i feel like i'm completely new to this website :P so you'll get to learn completely random stuff about me in this blog. hope you enjoy:D

-I'm a junior at empire high school in Tuscon, Arizona. it's a small school that uses laptops! OMG! :P

-I've been playing guitar for about four years now, and i've got a new guitar, an Ibanez Xiphos :D it's a beastly ax!

-I'm in several "joke" bands/projects with my friends, and write really dumb stuff for fun and record them on garageband :P I wanna get into a real band when I feel ready.

-I'm still a huge metalhead, everything from classic to death metal, but recently i've been getting into classic rock and more experimental and weirder stuff :P

-my top 5 bands are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rush, Porcupine Tree (I'm listening to Anesthetize right now), and Megadeth :D

-top 5 maiden albums... Somewhere in Time, Powerslave, Killers, A Matter of Life and Death, The X factor

-I'm an Agnostic, despite my heavy christian backround.

- My heroes are Trevor Moore, my father and the tourette's guy :P

-Favorite movie of all time is Aliens :D

-I've secretly liked one of my best friends for about two years now :oops:

- I'm really tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

Hey guys, I'd like to explain why I haven't been around, but there are more important matters at hand, so I'll talk about that next blog, but....

IT'S TRUE!!! I GOT A 360 ELITE!!!(bet you didn't think I'd actually get one, huh:P)

I'm so excited! I just got Gears and Bioshock, and I'm expecting the Orange box anyday in the mail! I just started both games, and they define the word amazing. I also just created an xbox live account, so plz send me a message and add me as a friend! I'd love to play a round of Gears sometime!:D (Just remember, I'm still a noob, so go easy on me:P)

UP THE 360!!! AND THE IRONS!!!

Sorry the blogs a bit overdue...
BUT RUSH WAS MIND-BLOWING!!!:o8) Where to start... Everyone was top-notch at everything.Geddy managed to hit all the high notes quite well and his bass was really audible as well as being the most energenic of the trio, while alex was as clear as a bell, his tone was great and his solo's were excellent. Neil probably stole the show though, he didn't skip a single beat and his drumwork was insane, especially when he did his 10-minute solo! He'd play for a little bit then get up while his drum kit spun, revealing an electric drum set as well! The stage was set up somewhat odd, With toy dinosaurs on the amps and chicken roaster's where more amp's should've been. Also occausionaly a chef would check on the chickens! Geddy also pull out a video camera, and toldeveryone to shout "hi canada", to show his friends. Luckily, I was literaly I few feet away from them, so I know I got in there! They played veriety of songs around 35-40, including many from their new album. I was surprised how all the songs sounded quite similar to the studio versions(Maybe not that surprised... I mean it's Rush were talkin' about!:P)I gotta say, I was a little dissapointed when they didn't play New World Man, The Trees, or Working Man! At least they played Subdivisions! Also at the end, there was a funny vid of South Park called "lil Rush" when they're playing Tom Sawyer, Cartmans completely screwing up the lyrics, saying something like "Tom Sawyer was floating down a river on a raft with a black man!" When Kyle corrects him by saying "that's huckleberry finn, stupid!" When they start over on the "one, two three..." that's when Rush started they're c lassic, Tom Sawyer. Good to know they have a sense of humor! But it was incredable. Seriously, a night I'll never forget!

Also, has anyone heard of the so called rasism in RE5? You know, shooting black zombies is supposed to be some big issue, and it teaches people to hate blacks, apperiently? That makes me sick! Sure, it's okay to shoot white and spainerd zombies, but when it comes to blacks, it's an excuse that to blame capcom that they're spreading white supremacy. I mean, it takes place in africa! What race are they supposed to be? And they're zombies, so you have to kill them in self-defense! It's not like you storm a village and start a genocide just because they're black! Geez...:?

Sorry if that offended you somehow, I'm not rasist, just so you know. Just wanted to add that, because everything's being deemed as rasist nowadays...:roll:

Well, sense school's starting to heat up, I'll barely be on anymore... mainly weekends I'll be on, sadly.:( It sucks, but I've been screwing up school too much, and I need to get back on track.

Yeah, this week has been my first back to school as a sophmore... The first time I hit my alarm, I thought "I'm ready for another vacation":PBut school's been going pretty well so far, because I get to see all my friends again, witch is cool, and all my teacher's seem pretty cool as well, even "Mr. Fabolous," as he likes to be called...Guess I don't have to explain what his deal is:lol: So this looks like it's going to be a good year.:)

Anthrax- Good ol' thrash metal

At the Gates-Crazy fast melodeath(a.k.a. melodic death metal)

Behemoth- Brutal death metal. I swear, Inferno must've sold his soul to be able to play like that!

Black Sabbath-Do I really need to explain this one?

Bruce Dickinson-Bruce's solo band. If u like Maiden, you'll love this.

Children of Bodom-Kick ass Melodic death metal. A very talented group.

Chimaira- I only have one song from them:Ressurection. Pretty cool.

Dark Tranquillity-A very unique band, thought-provoking melodeath

Dio- One of the best vocalists ever, even in his late 50's!

Dream Theater- heavy Progressive metal for those who appreciate extremely well-written music.

Exodus- Thrash metal.Not one of my favs, but still great.

In Flames-Another awesome melodeath band.Their older stuff is, at least.

Iron Maiden-(see black sabbath discription)

Judas Priest-One of my favorite bands ever, these guys are incredable!

Machine Head-Good slow paced metal. If u like pantera, you'll dig these guys.

Mastodon-One of the few modern bands that actually know what talent is.

Megadeth-Also one of my fav groups, their new album smokes!

Metallica- Old stuff: thrash! new stuff: (yawns) trash. You know it's "sad but true"

Morbid Angel- One of the creaters of death metal, and they definetly deserve that title.

Motorhead- Buy their greatest hits, and you'll be set.

Opeth-Progressive death? Does that not scream awesome?

Ozzy-C'mon... I hope you know who this guy is!

Pantera-R.I.P. Dime, your legacy will never be forgotten...

Queensryche- Good stuff here, operation: mindcrime is a must-have!

Rainbow-Dio's first band. 'nuff said.

Rush-Guess who's going to see them?!

Sepultura- A very underated thrash band, right up there with Slayer and Megadeth

Slayer- Guarenteed to terrify annoying little children!

Testament- Same as Sepultura. When are these guys comeing out with a new album?

Tool-The most weirdest band ever, but also one of the most addicting. Recently got into them.

Trivium-Why does everyone hate these guys? Is it so criminal to pick up where metallica left off?

Well, my guitar lessons are getting crazy!(In a good way)My teacher has put me on a six-month "Metal Method" course. I'm learning all sorts of amazing things, including the minor CAGED system, sweep arpeggios, the diminished scale, and weird new intervals. I swear, whoever invented this damn instrument is a genious! There's so much math involved in learning theart of the shred.8)

Oh, and I got tickets to see the legendary band, Rush, on the 27th! I simply cannot wait! I'm a big fan of their complex and beutiful music, and so is my pop. Well I just woke up and I'm extremely tired:P Sorry I haven't been on lately, my computer's been acting up lately, and it's satarting to get on my nerves:evil: But yeah, I'll try to come on as much as possible to read blogs;)

Well, as you all know, E3 is here! Surpriseingly, Sony had the best presentation, imo. The had anounced alot of games for every system, as well as a newly designed PSP. Killzone 2 looked awesome, and the MGS4 trailer gave me chills! It was so cool watching the sissy MGS2 Raiden becoming a badass cyborg ninja duking it out with Vamp. I want that game so much! All these announcements set me back on the course of the PS3! I don't plan on getting the 80 gig model, just the 60 gig one for 499.99. Which is strange, because in an issue on gamepro I read, Sony had no plans for a price drop anytime soon. Assassin's Creed, Lair, FFXIII and RE5 also have me sold on a PS3. Sorry Microsoft, but I wasn't really sold with their presentation. It seemed like a recap of the year with little news(besides Halo 3, of course). And And Nintendo's was good, but seemed to be lacking something big. Still, I'm glad there's I bright future for the Wii and DS!

Speaking off the Wii, I need a new game for mine:P I still only have Wii sports andTP, with a few VC games.Pokemon Battle revolution apperiently sucked, so I don't know about that one, but RE4 wii edition looks kind of tasty. Or maybe I should just hold off for more Wii games or a PS3. What do you guys think?

While were still on the topic of games, I fell in love with my PS2 again. A friend let me borrow RE code Veronica X, and I gotta say, I love it. Though it's kind of weak graphically, this game is much longer the your typical RE game. Right now I'm playing as Chris, which I would guess is about 5 to 6 hours in. And my friend said I'm not even close to finishing! I also started playing MGS2 and MGS3 again, and I started a new game in FFXII. Right now I'm in the Henne Mines. Im also extremely hooked on Pokemon Diamond... still:P

As for the music quiz... BOO! No one guessed Children of Bodom's "are you dead yet"!:?Come one guys, I just do these quizes to make my blogs more interesting! What's up guys?All right, I have alot to share, so you better take a seat:P But I'll try to keep it short and sweet...

Gamewise, it's a very happy day! I finally beat FFXII:cry: Oh, the tears of joy!For some reason, it seemed a lot more easier then before, though I did no training whatsoever:lol: I'm probably going to go through it again, it was an excellent game! I also took another stab at FFIII, but I'm probably not gonna play that one for a looong time. It's probably the most cheapest game I've ever played!:? Also, when I heard RE4 for the Wii was coming out, I originally wasn't going to get it. But for thirty bucks, I'm seriously considering it;)

I also saw Ocean's 13 with pop for father's day. I didn't see the first two, but he wanted to see it, so we did. It was alright, but I think I would enjoy it more if I saw the first two. It seems like the summer movie drought continues.Spider-man 3 and Shrek 3 were... well, ok, but previous movies for both of those were better.I didn't see Pirates or Fantastic 4 because of all the mixed opinions, so I've been very hesitant, but I'll probably catch them soon.Hopefully Rush Hour 3 will kick ass!:D

I also bought a couple of awesome metal albums...

1. Children of Bodom:Follow the Reaper- Probably my fav. album by them that I own(I have every album by them except Something Wild) 10/10

2. In Flames: Clayman- A truely awesome album, but I personally liked Whoracle better. I liked it better then Colony and Come Clarity though. 9/10

3. I saved the best for last...Dream Theater:Systematic Chaos- OMG the new album by them kicks ass! I love it, I love it, I love it! I like it much better then Octavarium, but still, my fav. album by them is Awake. One of the better album releases of this year. BUY IT! 11/10

Hey guys! Summer's been draging on forever for me, but that isn't exactly a bad thing, now is it? I've been living after midnight and rocking to the dawn! (U get a gunball if u know were that line came from:P) Oh, and I hope u enjoyed the vid(despite the crappy quality, it IS my first video), because there's more where that came from! Oh, and if couldn't find the video, it was in the video section(duh:P) sry, I don't know how to put video's in blogs!:roll:

Well, gamewise, I've been slowly drifting away from my PS2 and towards my Wii. Along with Zelda TP and OoT, I've been playing some cube games as well, particularly MP2 and RE. This is kinda bad though, since I still haven't completed FFXII yet:? I can get passed the semi-final bosses pretty easy, but the final boss always slaughters my party:cry: Well, when I get the new Tomb Raider, I'll start to pay more attention to my PS2... at least until I get MP3 corruption:lol:

Also, I figured that my Ipod has so much room that I should start broadening my musical tastes a little bit:roll: So, I've been getting into Melodic Death Metal, which is a more mellow and listenable version of Death Metal(hence the name) Normally I can't stand Death Metal, but this genre is great! I've been mainly listening to these Melodeath bands: Dark Tranquility, At the Gates(You thought Reign in Blood was brutal? Check out these guys' Slaughter of the Soul!), and In Flames. These guys influenced many modern bands, including Children of Bodom and Arch Enemy. There awesome. I've also been listening to some more modern bands, mainly Mastodon and Trivium. Good stuff.8)
