Hey guys, a friend of mine from work needs a full-on Windows reinstall. He bought the desktop about a year ago and still has the license key for windows 7 Home Premium on the side. Problem is, he doesn't have any disks to install from, but I do.
To-the-point: Does he need a Dell-branded Windows setp disk or will a retail version do?
Metal side of me-
Orion by Metallica
Movie nut side of me-
Climbing up Iknimaya, the Path to Heaven
Jake's First Flight
Both are from the Avatar soundtrack, the part of the movie where they climb up to the mountains. One of the best parts of the movie IMO
Perfect Dark. Best FPS for the console period IMHO. Goldeneye was super awesome, don't get me wrong, but PD had the same gameplay but more refined with more everything. Rare games in general are bar none in quality for the system. OoT is superb as well.
Crackdown was absolutely insane. I was mad glued to it for weeks over the summer I had it. Scaling buildings and causing mayhem was a blast. More recently, I've had some great fun with Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA as (sadly) I mssed out on that game from the days of yore. Hard, but rewarding.
For me, they are both awesome in their own ways. GTA IV, more down-to-earth and realistic and SR2, cartoony, lewd and very immature.... but GREAT fun. IV's multi is better than SR2 by miles for sure. IV and SR2 overall have a great story and interesting characters. If you like customizing characters, SR2 is your ticket. So in short, they are both kick ass games that will provide many hours of fun. I have both, so I'd buy them both. GTA came down to $40 so that may sweeten the deal for you. I'd wait for SR2 to come down in price before you commit. Hope this helps :)
Whoa, I never really thought about that.... I have my computer off the ground and on my desk and my Z 5500 sub's right underneath it. Maybe it gets pissed when I play Basshunter too loud? :D
Just to clarify:
CONTRAST ratio determines how bright and how deep the blacks are on a particular screen. Higher is better.
ASPECT ratio determines the size of the media being displayed. Most HDTVs now are 16:9. This is best for movies and games.
If I have made an error fellow posters, please feel free to correct me :)
