I Finally beat ToS. It took me 37 hours over the course of a month, but I did it. It was some fun gaming for sure, but there have been better games. I'm kind of suprised how into the story I got considering how silly it was at points.

I have completed the story of Katamari Damacy, and it was a wild ride. I don't feel nearly done with the game though, as it has many scores to break. I have written a review of the game as well.

Over the weekend I spent some serious time on Tales of Symphonia. I hadn't binged on game like that since the Four Swords for gamecube. I won't lie and say that it had nothing to do with my wife being out of town, but I think I would have been compelled to do it anyway. It's an excellent game, and I have a feeling that I will have a fantastic feeling of accomplishment when I actually do finish it.

I have beaten two RPGs in my life (Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy). I have owned many. I just got Tales of Symphonia for gamecube and I am very serious about beating this one. For one, it has a great combat system that is actually fun, and I also like the characters. The story is pretty blah so far, but I can deal with a boring story as long as I'm actually having fun with the game. Right now I'm about 6 hours in, so I've got a ways to go. But I'm feeling confident at this point.

This labor day weekend, my wife and I both beat a game. I beat the second quest of windwaker ( I really just wanted to see for myself that nothing was different), and she beat Luigi's Mansion. The end of windwaker was harder than I remembered, and I went in underprepared. I think it would be a difficult task indeed to beat the game with no extra hearts.

Other than that , this weekend was fairly non-descript. We went to a DomeBQ, and watched a couple of movies. I watched Emma with my wife, and didn't hate it (which was a suprise). I'm nervous about going back to work like I always am after a long weekend.

I unlocked the Order of the Supreme Starmaster Leader patch in the GBA activision anthology today, fairly easy, but more challenging than the ensign patch. So far these patches have been much more challenging and rewarding than the patches in the PS2 version.

I'm sick today, and can think of nothing better than getting home and playing some windwaker. It's also very hard not to play Activision Anthology since it is in my pocket. Today I have been drawing lines around photos of aortas for 5 hours and I have 3 hours to go. Ugh.
