The FPS genre is a major contention between console and PC gamers.

It used to be a genre exclusive and synonymous to PC , but know more and more FPS attention is focues on consoles.

It's that feeling of loss and they want to convert console fps gamers into PC fps gamers to compensate or blame them for the percieved loss.

Don't worry there is a sense of poetic justice because maybe one day in a few years, the FPS genre on mobile gaming could exclipse consoles and become synonymous with iOS, Android, HTC, Windows 8 etc.....

Then you will see console gamers rant on mobile gamers.

Unfortunately, you have little to back up your assumption that console exclusives do not interest PC gamers.

25GB blu-ray discs are cheap now, but 50gb ones are not and alot of PS3 exclusives are above 25gb as we know

Well that's the way with PC gaming, but don't forget that decent gaming rigs(that are practical) then to cost upwards of $800/£1000. So its in cost wise console gaming still wins overall(unless you decide to buy 100's of games).
