There's a new Dante according to IGN!

Devil May Cry 4 made a limited appearance at the Tokyo Game Show via a new trailer and some slick screenshots in Japan's biggest magazines. Following the game's E3 debut, it at long last seems like Capcom is starting to spill the details on what we can expect from this PS3 sequel. Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi does just that in a brief interview featured in the latest issue of Japan's Hyper PlayStation magazine. Asked what his goals are for the project, Kobayashi states that he considers Devil My Cry 4 to be an important title because it's been four years since he worked with Dante (on part 1 of the series) and the game has the number "4" in it. He wants to give players the feeling that Dante is making his world debut once again. He also feels that, both in terms of cinema scenes and gameplay, Devil May Cry 3 offered a complete experience, and he hopes to continue along the lines of that game while adding new elements.

This doesn't seem to mean that DMC4 will be just DMC3 with next generation visuals. Kobayashi states that he and his development staff are planning some big changes for the series, although specifics are currently being kept under wraps at Capcom's Osaka development studio.

The Dante shown at TGS is actually not the Dante that we will be seeing in Devil May Cry 4. The TGS character was made as an extension of Devil May Cry 3's young Dante in order to show what the development staff could do with the PS3 hardware. The Dante that we control in Devil May Cry 4 will be different though, following directly from the Dante of the original Devil May Cry. Character designer Tatsuya Yoshikawa is currently designing the character, and a few bits of artwork shown in the magazine suggest an older Dante. Some of the art shows Dante with his hair back, giving the character a more threatening look.

In addition to Dante, we can, continuing with series tradition, expect a female lead. In the interview, Kobayashi asks readers if they'd prefer a previous heroine to return, or a completely new heroine. Jokingly, he adds that a heroine is important in order to show off how cool Dante really is. Other characters from past games may or may not make an appearance -- Kobayashi says that nothing has been decided.

Clearly, Devil May Cry 4 is early in development. The game currently doesn't have a release date. Kobayashi promises to start thinking about a release date for Devil May Cry 4 once the PS3 has seen release.

The DMCU was recently awarded the Battalion Emblem, and this is what it means......

I must say that I am really impressed to see how far the DMCU has progressed. :D

Welcome to my E3 Excitement Journal Entry #1,

I was so excited when I woke up in the morning because of the E3, that I quickly try to see what new information had piled up while I was sleeping.

When I saw what I saw, I was like ****, this can't be happening. I saw two of the best things that made my day although I was half-asleep lol.
Devil May Cry 4 and The Getaway 3 :shock:

I am looking forward to those games and many more games which will be released for the PS3 in the future.
I just found out about a new PS3 game with BABES in it :shock: - Eyedentify - I am buying the game regardless :lol:

Well........ it has been a while since I last added a new entry to my journal.

All I can say is, that I have nearly finished my Devil May Cry 3 Review. All I have to do it touch it up a little as the main review in words is done.

I will also be writing a Midnight Club 3 Review soon........... so for all those Street Racings Fans.......... this is an excellent game and after what I just experienced tonight after riding a chick on a fast motorbike........... I'm speechless :shock:

I remember when I used to have my TV-Card in my PC. I used to do alot of cool things like record videos off my PS2 and rip high-quality pictures off all my favorite PS2 Games.
But sadly.... I do not have my TV-Card connected to my PC anymore :(.

I am planning to buy another one later this year though, but a card that supports AV Cords, so I will receive crystal clear quality off my games.

I have every single Driv3r Video on my PC that I recorded off my PS2 and backed up on cds :D - I used to do alot of video encoding back then, so I could de-interlace the vids to make them look almost original.

Can any GSC Member tell me how I would benefit from going complete.

I want to know if it is worth $30 annually. I know that it offers alot and stuff, but I would like to know 1st hand from a complete member what it's like, and how I can benefit :twisted:
