Ya I felt the same way. Until I started playing Life is strange which is bar far the best modernized version of point and click story game you use controller like any other game to walk around instead of clicking shit. It was the perfect side step in genre's and feel and the story and all it's outcomes will have you wanting more. It's a lot like the walking dead and game of thrones games but actually done well, with quality done lower end graphics and the game actually runs well instead of constant stuttering like both of those game I mentioned seem to have even on good hardware.
Yes the Witcher 3 and Life is Strange are the best games I played this year.
TW3 - Has very good content { story, length choices e.t.c } and I actually enjoyed the combat.
Life is Strange - This game has the best story ever and its filled with choices that can have extreme consequences.
@pikachewbacca: If your pc can handle it and if you are fine with 30 fps and random lag then you should try ARK: Survival Evovled. Its still in its early stages so there are a few bugs. It does have some FPS parts but it is more of an adventure/survival game. If you get annoyed withe multiplayer you can still play privately with your friends or by yourself. The game looks amazing but it is very hard.
On AMD, default = higher quality, but it hurts performance.
On NV, default = worse quality, but it runs faster (10% according to BF4 tests).
Do a detailed analysis in recent games, image quality comparisons on default driver settings (since its what you test on), same settings in-game, same location. Then do it forced on quality in CC/NVCP.
You will get a ton of site hits from everyone interested in this issue. If it turns out to be true, then basically NV has "optimized" their way to extra performance for years at the expense of IQ.
Its good to know but its un-related to what i asked.
