F.E.A.R. hands down. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game in terms of environment, bullet effects, gun battles, etc. But would have hurt the developers to put a little more effort into some unit variety? I finished F.E.A.R. and played five minutes of Extraction Point before I was bored silly. Didn't even finish XP.
I played for awhile, and looking back on my WOW experience, it was just a huge timesink. Grind grind grind grind. If you have a lot of free time, then it might be worth it.
WOW- played on and off for about four months-- boring boring boring, the whole community is made up of 8-12 year olds, and MMORPGs in general are huge timesinks. Civilization series- I don't think these games are bad, but they are definitely overrated IMO--something about them just doesn't do it for me. Final Fantasy- I can't stand Anime. Fight two enemies and watch twenty mintues of cut scenes. I have to disagree with you on Deus Ex and Freedom Fighters. I thought Deus Ex was a great game, and while I don't know if Freedom Fighters deserved the Gamespot rating it received, it was a solid, fun game IMO.
