Hey, I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on what they thought the best party games for the Nintendo DS are. Obviously, Mario Party DS is probably my number one pick for this type of game. I played it with a couple of my friends a few weeks ago and it was great. All the great things about the console version for a handheld. And I would also have to say Mario Kart DS. It is a blast racing or playing battle. What do you guys think?

Dementium 2 is coming out soon and I think it will be rated mature. I need to play the first one soon so I can be ready for the second!

"Deadly Silence" is one of the best games on the DS. Try it again. The stylus and second screen make it the best version of the original game on ANY platform and it actually has several aiming patches and other gameplay "helpers" that the original doesn't have... It's a piece of art and history that you really need to see through if you consider yourself any kind of RE fan.

You can do it, Duffy Moon! Play it again!

:D

And, I would forget about another RE game on the DS... they are in bed with Sony for the next game, firmly... it'll be out on "the other handheld", but not Nintendo's lil' wonder.

:(

Sad but true.

PS - Have you tried "Dementium: The Ward" yet? That game might be a bit more to your "modern" survival horror tastes... not the greatest game over-all, but a set of headphones and a dark room do wonders! Just a thought.

I ditto this. Deadly Silence was one of the first games I bought for DS. I played it a couple of times and died A LOT so i put it down and never touched it again...until now. Deadly Silence is truly a classic game. Once you get used to the controls and killing stuff, you will love it. The only complaint I have is that you have limited saves but it is still a great game and a must have for the DS. It would be cool to see some more resident evils on the DS though so I can see where you're coming from.

Do you guys think people will actually considering selling their DSi or DS lite for a DSi XL? Personally, I don't even feel like the DSi is the best current nintendo handheld anyways. I got a DSi, and to be honest, I kind of regret it because it doesn't have the GBA slot.

Yeah that's the one big disappointment I have found with the DSi. Unfortunately, Nintendo seems to be lagging behind Sony and Microsoft when it comes to online downloads and the only way you're gonna get to play classics with a DSi is to keep a DS lite also or have a GBA.

I definitely think MAG is gonna be where it's at. I used to play KZ and now it just seems like KZ was kind of a fad to me. It was great, but it didn't have longlasting appeal even though the multiplayer was ahead of games like Resistance 2. MAG just offers so much more...

I don't and that definitely is not a good idea. I would save up and get a space heater instead of a game next time.
