GTA Aftermath

Ok, we all heard heard about what happened with GTA. In case you were living under a rock or were at camp, heres what happened. Some Dutch guy discovered a code called "Hot Coffee" in the PC version of GTA San Andreas. In that cheat, you get to have hot steamy sex with your girlfriend. Now Rockstar Games was under investigation by the ESRB. Then the worst thing of all happened, Hillary "She-Man" Clinton made it public and went on a rampage. She said that violent games equate to alcohol and cigarettes as a "Hazard to America's Youth." So I guess in the near future were going to see TRUTH ads on how GTA will kill us in our 20s.*sarcasm* So now her and Jack Thompson (Miami Attorney and Antigaming Activist so we dont care what he thinks) are going back up Capitol Hill and trying to pass another gaming bill. They been trying that for many years now. So now GTA is now rated AO, and being pulled from shelves of stores like Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Target.

Now that Hillary made it public, he (I know I said HE) made it to where many people buy GTASA, just in case if it was made AO. So instead of stopping minors from getting it, they just made more minors get it. Heres some advice, if you dont want to get a violent game into a minors hands that could be rated AO, dont make the situation public. Of course this was big news because this is a big game. If this was about a small game like Trackmania, this would be interesting for about 3 minutes.

Now Jack Thompson is going after SIMS 2. Let me step as side and say this. Florida cannot get a break. 1st, there was the election, then its the hurricanes, then the molesters, and now this guy. Anyways, Thompson is saying that SIMS 2 is a pedophiles dream game, because you get to see naked people and have sex. I think this isn't worse than taking off a barbie dolls clothes and have her do it with Ken. Its just plain stupid.

Since when was n00b an insult?

When it comes to insulting someone, why does someone have to call someone a n00b? It makes no sense. You called a person a player who just started out in a game. WOW I too would be offended if I was called that. *sarcasm* You call someone a n00b when that player is just starting out and doing crappy, then when you call him that you're just stating the obvious. It really can't be used any other way. So tell me, why use it?

My Burnout 3 Tips

Hey I just got done with Burnout 3, and I figured I help you all out with a few tips I picked up.

1. In Burning Laps and Special Events, get that idea out of your head that if you crash once, its ok. Its not unless you perform excellent turns.

2. There is no such thing as a clean race. Takedowns are essential to victory. You will basically be forced to do it or else you wont get the gold.

3. Use your enviroment. Use cars, guard rails or slight breaks in roads to take your opponent down. If your timing is right, you can get signiture takedowns. If you collect all signiture takedowns, you get a new car.

4. The AI does cheat. I know people say that when theyre losing but its true. You can takedown a guy and then he will be right on your tail.

5. Never give up. No matter how far behind you are, you can still catch up. Boost is the key. If you takedown a lot of people, you get more boost which can help you out a lot.

6. If you go down, take other people with you. One of the newest features of Burnout 3 is the Impact Cam. Impact Cam can help you move your car even though it crashed. If you hit your oppenent after you crashed, you get more boost.

7. Just because its fast, doesn't means its the best car to use. Sometimes, its better to use a car thats heavier, so you won't get takendown so easily.

8. Not boosting is sometimes a good idea. When in crash mode, sometimes its better not to get the boost, because you'll have more control of the car and you can possibly get better traffic to hit.

9. Multipliers are a dream come true. Get the multipliers to get more cash. I know im stating the obvious, but if im giving out tips, I might as well say it. Beware of the Heartbreakers. They cut your score in half. If you get a 4X multiplier and a heartbreaker, the heartbreaker will overrule the 4X and your score will be cut.

10. Risk = Reward. You hear the phrase a lot throughout the game. I just have to say it though. The more risks you take, the better the reward, if that made any sense to you.

11. Wait until the second lap of the crash tour to get all the headlines. Crash headlines are a lot easily obtainable when your on the second lap of the tour. The gold score is more closer of the headline score.

That is all the tips I can give you so far. I hope this helps you all out. If it does let me know.

Should Capcom be trusted?

3 years ago, Capcom made a deal with Nintendo saying that Capcom will make Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, PN 03, and Resident Evil 4 only for the NIntendo Gamecube. And everyone was jolly, oh yea we got a deal with Capcom whoop dee do. Then after the release of Viewtiful Joe, Capcom decided to have that on PS2. After Nintendo thought they finally had a great game that was from a third party company, it gets transfered over to Sony. Then, the best thing ever to come to the GC, the release of RE4, it gets over to the PS2. And now Killer 7! Capcom completely went back on their deal with Nintendo. Should Capcom be trusted with future deals with other companies?

Shut Up!

Why is it that games are blamed for everything? Whenever a child does something wrong, its blamed on video games. Because its not the parents fault, oh god no. Its the games, they're evil and sadisitic and make you wet yourself at night. If you all dont have a sense of humor, that was sarcasm. Did you know that people want the light gun games like Time Crisis and Area 51 banned from arcades? Its soooo stupid. Now people want you to have an ID to buy or even rent a M-rated game. So you have to do the same thing to buy a game as you do with buying cigarettes. Now cigarettes, they can kill you. I understand why people would want an ID for those, but i dont understand why we need to do it for games. Games cant kill you. I'm not going to see "TRUTH" ads on how gaming is going to later kill me in my late 30s.

Heres my solution: Have parents actually do their job and parent their kids, and if they feel that their child was mature enough to know whats right and wrong, then they could consider renting a M-rated game like GTA or Doom. When I was a child, my parents taught me right from wrong, and they felt I was mature enough to understand what to do and what not to. So parents out there, instead of blaming other people blame yourselves.
