I still don't understand how an all loving god could send someone to eternal damnation, filled with agonizing pain.
Peter_Darkstar
Exactly - ETERNAL
You can only screw up so much in a life time. You should never have to repay that in pain over ETERNITY. I'm sure that if you withstood permanent physical pain for 100,000 years, you would go through at LEAST the equivalent suffering of all the damage you could have personally caused hitler possibly excepted, although it wasn't damage done PERSONALLY). However, hell would just keep going.
Wow MoreWasabi, you sir are a douchebag. I hope the next woman you try that crap on really socks you in the face so you can get a taste of reality. The only type of women that like your special brand of a-hole are the ones that the topic creator is trying to avoid. No self-respecting woman would ever take the **** you suggest. Maybe you should go back to watching late night Cinemax with your hands down your pants because that's all the action you'll ever get scumbag.Headbanger88
Oh yeah, because I'm sure that everything ever said on these forums is completely UNfunny and nobody has ever poseted a joke. Everyone knows these forums are gospel on people's actual beliefs. How can you NOT pick up the sarcasm.
Also, for the record, that was actually hysterical.I laughed.

You don't know though...
Unless you A. Have some precognitive ability or B. Have a time machine...
I choose A.
And a country where people struggle to get their hands on these weapons so that in case of a zombie invasion, people don't go mental and start looting and killing each other as easily.

No, creationism shouldn't even be presented as a possibility. It has no place in the cl@ssroom.
Not quite. Creationsim should not be TAUGHT in the cl@ssroom but definitely not dismissed. It is wrong for a teacher to tell someone that their beliefs are incorrect. The best way to do it is to teach evolution as "the theory of evolution." This stops it interferring with someone's beliefs but it means that the most accurate and up to date science can still be taught.
In the case of students enquiring about creationism, at WORST a teacher should say, "scientific evidence suggests otherwise but it's not impossible."
While the "theory of Evolution" is still a theory, basically everything else is also a theory. This theory, like the 'theory of gravity' and that the world is an oblate spheroid (instead of flat) has pretty much been proven. So unless we want to go back to saying it's possible that the earth is flat or that gravity affects a stone much more than it affects a feather, then using the 'theory' excuse is inexcusable.
I know everything is a theory, also, just fyi, it is still the "theory" of gravity. As far as people in physics are concerned, the thought of gravity is a heap of **** that just happens to work. Furthermore, we have absolute PROOF of a non-flat world and yet people still refuse to believe it, so does that mean we should torment them?In this case, evolution is still a theory, and so why should we tell people their beliefs are wrong. People have the right to believe in what they want, provided it doesn't hurt anyone, and if you want to take that right away from them because you are so unbending in believing that all current scientific theories are final and will never be improved apon, go ahead. I see no point in telling someone their beliefs are wrong in order to promote a highly likely theory.

[QUOTE="Ichiroisawsome"]This is a pointless thread. We all know how Gamespot rates games. Except for Jeff. Who knows what goes on his delusional mind.MikeE21286
But it's a serious question. Is a 9.0 on Wii not the equivalent of a 9.0 on another system.
True for the most part, but if you take include the controller, which is not incorporated into the ratings system, they are back up there. furthermore, every game is rated relatively. if there was an "ingenuity" component of the ratings system (for the wii controls) then the 360 and PS3 would score 0 compared to 10s for the wii. At the moment, there is no component of the scoring system that takes into account the controlling. Based on graphics and sound, wii doesn't compare, we all know that. On content - to each his own. But the wii is about the controller and the gameplay - eg: warioware - it would not be an AAA if it was controlled using the 360 control...
