lots of new games coming, but i still got some unfinished businesses with the PS2 and am too lazy to go buy one. So, at the risk of getting a hella thumb downs, am gonna say PS2 emulation.
whenever they do this kind of comparison, i wish they wouldnt put the platform's names. they should only post the pics and a week later tell what was on what. I would love to see fanboys fire in their own a$$es
Why is this even a debate? Games can tell stories, not as good as books or movies...there are some games with better stories than books and movies...its how it is
you know, Gamespot wanted to kick this off with a bang, but really, can it get any better than this? i still remeber today that intro from FFIV on SNES...simply
this is pretty much like drugs. There is a reason why The Netherlands have such a small ratio of problems related to it if compared to the United States.
if youre a casual gamer, its fine. I for one, wouldnt use a net/laptop for whatever gaming unless it was Alienware. To each its own. If u want to game, spend some cash on a real machine. Why u would want to play a modern game on a platform that can only show u squares and bricks? Beats me.
after 1.7k comments, i think gamespot got what they wanted. As for all of you that are still debating this, these are frames; with the frame rates no one can notice any of this, thats why t made frames; Stop the arguing, its not like anyone will be converted to you side, just because you can cuss more or sound more polite than the other guy... FFS, just enjoy the damn games; No one pays you to be insulting other guys, leave to M$ and SONY to do that.
varmsleigh: am sorry for the lie thing: i have met lots of fanboys (not calling you one) who would say they havent spent an extra dime on their 360, and later were found to have hdds and all sorts of necessities that dont come out of the box. I think the 360 had much better graphics, today they are equal (or the differences are dwindling) which makes me safely say this: the architecture on the 360 is of a PC. meaning it is extensively known and there isnt much new you can squeeze out of it. the proof is that devs were able to make gorgeous games right off the bat. the ps3 is still evolving, software matures slower than hardware. whats left for it happen is the ps3 surpassing the 360. Again, 360 had a larger margin, now its narrower..whats next? All this time, the xbox programming didnt evolve as did the ps3. and even if the ps3 dies a horrible death, the ps4 will pick up its hard work: the hardware will be very cheap to produce, devs will have completely mastered its programming model, and will be able to make masterpieces right off the bat. I think the next generation will be the inverse of this one: SONY will build on PS3 continuity while M$ will launch a whole new toy around. Please dont simply flame, try to say something so i can argue my point of view.
