Thanks

I have just replaced my sons Elite with a new xbox 360 slim with the built in wireless N adaptor. I have noticed that the built in wireless adaptor is not always detected in the dashboard. When I connect the removable wireless adaptor it connects to my network fine. I have not got a wireless N router.

My question is, does the built in wireless adaptor have a lower range than the detachable wireless G adaptor?

I used to have the X1's which sound the same as the X3's and are very good for the money. I recently upgraded to the X41's and then Iinstantly realised that the sound from my old X1's is pretty poor. Yes the X41's are silly money (£150 UK) but the addition of the full surround sound is fantastic.

I would recommend that people go for the X41's over any of the others if they have the money!

There was a PC game called Kwari which let you buy ammo at the start of a match and then you would earn money back for kills. But the company has gone out of business so I assume the game was not very popular!

[QUOTE="sjaisie"][QUOTE="DranzarTypeF"]Jesus...I threw a controller at my own brother over that bit, I was ***** I died 10 times in a row on Veteran doing that part lol.

I only found out how to do it because I watched my 12 year old son do it on his 360, typical! He also has 1000/1000 gs because we did the spec ops together!

12 year old son ?....I'm 17 and it took me 10 tries lol.

LOL He does seem to have a natural talent for video games. I am 33 and have been playing games for about 25 years and still would like to be at his level!

So hard to decide. MW2 did copy from MW1 a fair bit even though from the same guys. The Russian guys house on Hardended is really ticking me off with all the stuns grenades and 2 bullet kills. How the freak are you meant to beat any on veteran?

Easy, you start the data transfer thing and then crouch behind the table in the same room while looking at the two doors. This way you can see the baddies before they can flash you. The hardest bit about this level is when you grab the data unit and have to run down the hill to the choppaaaaaa! :o| I have 980/1000 GS on this game, its not that difficult! Just need to get the intels, which I will do tomorrow! ;o)

No worries joke_man. :)

Bacon bits, we did think that the chat back function may be at fault so we set them up as shown in the instructions, but this did not solve the problem. Hopefully the replacement cable will help, and who know I may even upgrade from my X1's to get rid of that damn 16ft cable! :?

Yes they are indeed 7.1 dolby digital, connected to the xbox via optical cable. I think the sound quality of my X1's is fantastic but the X41's simply blow them away. The talk back feature works very well too. This is the option were the headset plays a little bit of your voice through the speakers too to stop you shouting because you cant hear your own voice.

My only gripe at the moment is the microphone chat problem we are experiencing. We have tried contacting MadCatz tech support twice now over a period of about three weeks and have had no response! If the microphone worked as it should I would have no hesitation to give them 8/10.

joke_man

Before anyone else wastes their time trying to help, did you read any of the suggestions above--mine inparticular? Did you attempt to try any of those things???

Lastly, are you aware that the X41 model you claim to have is a Turtle Beach product, not a MadCatz product!?!?!?!?!??!

I'm reluctant to give you any more support.....as should everyone else be as well.

Firstly, there is absolutely no need to take that attitude.I do appreciate your help and last night Itried everything you said but it did not help and I apologise for not immediately confirming to you in writing that I listened to your advice. But advising everyone else not to give support seems a little childish!

Secondly, I am not "claiming" to have the X41's, we have both the X41's (my sons) and the X1's (mine) and if you took the time to check the Turtle Beach website you will find the EU customer support email address is a MADCATZ one. I did not say the headset is a MadCatz product (check the thread title), I just said I have tried contacting madcatz.

Anyway, I received an email today from Daniel Nuth at MADCATZ saying that all I need to do is send them proof of purchase and they will send me a new talk back cable as this is what they think is defective! For what its worth I will let you know if this solves the problem, but please feel free to ignore!
