Just to throw this out for anyone needing an idea on 3ds games (based on what I have...) Lego Star Wars: really shallow, but good mindless fun. Great 3d effect. Asphalt: if you can stand the framerate drops, not too bad. Best 3d in my opinion. Ridge Racer: great racer, good solid framerate. 3d effect is okay, could live without it. Shadow Wars: haven't played too much of it yet, but what I did was good, not great. 3d is decent at best. Pilotwings: very fun, very short. The free flight mode will take most of your time. Good 3d. Street Fighter: amazingly fun game, quick and responsive controls. Good 3d at best. Super Monkey Ball: nice to play with analog again. Okay, but I really need more levels. Poor 3d, could turn off. So hopefully that helps. Not a fan of any franchise here on other consoles besides PW, but there ya go. Typing on an Ipad sucks... If there is any questions about the games let me know.

As if the title didn't say it :D.

Tried searching around, but didn't see, first of all, it says that most of the Singstar games will work with the PS3, but the question is: do you need to buy the mikes for the game? I have a few USB mikes, wondered if they would work instead (thank you Rock Band)

Thanks.

Well, I've been playing with the idea on hooking up HDMI to my monitor (VIA my DVI port with a converter), and was wondering how in the world I'd run sound out to my sound system.

The sound doesn't have a HDMI port, and has to be run using Red+White stereo outputs. Is there a way to get the HDMI + the sound to work also? Right now I'm running it on component cables and am very happy with the picture, but my monitor only will run 1080p in DVI, otherwise it'll run 1080i in component. Is it worth the hassle?

Thanks!

Well, got some extra cash from bonuses from work, a tax return to fill out here soon, and all that other fun stuff, so thought on getting a PS3 + UT3. Going to get the 80 gig, but wanted to know really what's the best deal on getting it financed right now.

I know Target has a 10% off if you apply for one of their cards, but I don't think they have deferred payments. Walmart has 12 months no interest/no payments, and I'm easily planning to pay it off within 6 TOPS (just in case of emergencies, etc). I do want to just have the payments out, but what really would be the best deal going on right now for getting one?

Thanks :D

I have my xbox360 near me. I simply removed the hard drive, and tried putting in Unreal Championship 2. Wouldn't let me, stating that I needed the hard drive.

So there you go, you cannot.

I got the Logitech Wheel for the 360 a few weeks ago, and I'll tell you, if you got a desk (or a 2x4 handy), it's a WONDERFUL wheel. The only downside I could see, it's a few wires, and it doesn't have a "lap" feature (you can fit it in between your legs, but it's somewhat uncomfortable this way). But it has the perfect amount of feedback, and feels just perfect in my hands.

Hope this helps! Oh, and it's on sale now for 79.99 instead of 99.99 :D

I got a good story to add onto that:

When I was younger, I left my Gameboy (the OLD, gray blocky one), outside on the deck, and accidently forgot about it (I was a kid, what'cha expect). It snowed the next day...well, the next 5 days.

After the snow vanished, there's my GB just waiting there. I let it dry, put in some new batteries, and continued with my Super Mario Land playing :-p
