Well the rumors of a price drop had gotten me thinking about buying one. And the new slim has really increased my chances of buying one but where are the games? As far as I'm concerned there are only a handful of games worth getting that aren't on the 360. The reason I loved my PS2 so much was the fact that it was the RPGconsole but where are they on the PS3, there are a couple and FFXIII is coming out but its still a little shaky on the selection. I think I can wait another year until theSlim's price drops (because in all likely hood it will and those that didn't expect this last price drop arejust ignorant)and GOW3 and FFXIII are out.

To be honest id like to see a whole lot of ps1 classics on the PSN and in some ways the classics available for download are fairly disappointing but i dont think they have the ability to send and store some of the larger and more advanced games from the ps1. but heres hoping for more what with the announcement of how large the network is getting. but we may have to wait for the next generation of handhelds to have the power to download the better games especially as demand for these games increases and the ability to write them into a downloadable code improves.

I've noticed this trend in gamespot lately myself. The PSP page is rarely updated and new games go unreviewed for days after their release while a number of console games are reviewed in advance of release. I believe that this is gamespots current weakness they are just focusing on what is the absolutly most popular thing of the moment, they dont give anything else a chance. Everything is remakes and sequels and anything that is not in the spotlight is brushed under the rug. The psp has plenty of worth for a gamer on the go who cannot spend hours in front of a console (Some gamers have real jobs with real lives) and it would be nice if I could go on gamespot for a review on a handheld game that I may be interested in buying. And I cant imagine I am the only one who is anticipating some of the handheld releases that are coming up.

I noticed that a number of classic RPGs are being remade for the PSP, and to be honest I would be very interested in playing them. However a number of them are coming out in Japan and I am not sure if they will come out in the U.S. In particular I would like to point to Persona, Suikoden 1/2, and Star Ocean 1/2. Does anyone know if these games will ever be released in the U.S. or should I start studying Japanese?

After all the hype on the web it would be a terrible business move not to pursue the remake.  As it is they have already made a whole bunch of spin-off games made from it.

I feel that the graphics are fine and I still play the game but I don't think a remake with newer graphics would be bad.
