Advance Wars

It has this thing that only Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Duck Hunt had in that it is accessible to totally non-gamer and at the same time, I can't name many game with as much depth and lifespan, on any platform... it does the amazing thing of being the best ever Strategy game even though it's not on the PC.

I think Bioshock deserved it this year for best Xbox 360 game.

One thing that's for sure in my opinion is that Halo 3 surely doesn't come close to deserve Overall Game Of The Year

well... if all you say guys is true then why is the PS2 the highest selling console of all time in Japan and is ahead of the Gameboy Advance??

I'm not saying that what you are saying is wrong, but you must also keep in mind that even though the Gameboy Advance had a 99% monopoly in the handheld market, it was beaten by the PlayStation 2 and the DS beats them both, without having a 99% monopoly on the handheld market and ahead of the most successful console that is the PlayStation 2

Ok... in ALL objectivity, tell me how is it even possible for Mass Effect, Forza 2 or PGR4 to get the Game of the Year award...

Let's say Super Mario Galaxy wasn't released, this post suggests that Mass Effect, Forza 2 and PGR4 should be immediate contender to Game of the Year... how are any of those 3 games true contender to Game of the Year even if Super Mario Galaxy didn't exist?!?!?!?

Same goes for Halo 3... what amazing feat does Halo 3 do that wasn't done in Halo and Halo 2???

I can see that people would argue that Crysis should take it this year but how does ANY of the games you mentioned deserve it this year... I don't know, you could have listed Bioshock or something... but how are Mass Effect, Forza 2 or PGR4 deserving of Game of the Year?!?!?!?
