Infinite Undiscovery
This game has somehow gained a very bad rep, but it is definatelly worth any rpg lover's time.
The game is nothing spectacular and its certainly not revolutionary, but it IS unique in most aspects. The battle system is real-time, very reminiscent of FFXII, but instead of just choosing turn-based commands in real-t... Read Full Review

Shining Force: Kamigami no Isan
This is what all console strategies should have been. It is still one of the ebst strategy titles in gaming history.
Shining Force was THE game that made me love strategy titles. It was one fo those games back in the 16-bit days that was so rare after it initially came out, you'd be lucky to ever see it grace even a local used video ga... Read Full Review

Enchanted Arms
This game is a poor first attempt at a next-gen rpg. Its so generic and uninteresting, reminds me of the Saga series.
This game started out at $20 for the PS3...what does that tell you? I tried to like this game simply because it was one of the first original rpg's for the next-gens, actually THE first I believe. Its just so bland to me... Read Full Review

Makai Senki Disgaea 3

There is no justification in downgrading an rpg's score due to graphics, I'm sorry, but rpg's are built on mostly story, then gameplay. If the gameplay is involving enough to make you want to play through the weee hours ... Read Full Review

SoulCalibur IV
The previous games were too complicated sometimes and this one fixes much of that. Much more user-friendly and more fun.
I loved the previous games but hated that I sucked at them so much so I never played them much with friends. I grew up with games like Street Fighter II, Eternal Champions, X-men vs. Street Fighter and the like so I was ... Read Full Review

SkyGunner
This game is a fine re-imagining of the classic arcade shooter. If you love R-type, Raiden, Gradius etc, get this game!
Every now and again atlus comes out with an offbeat classic that has absolutely nothing to do with their main development group who does mostly strategy/rpg games(akin to Working Designs and their Spaz shooter game serie... Read Full Review
