It's probably fine. I have a release 60GB and I used to keep it in a cabinet with a door on it and just open the door. There was a satellite box in there too, which was far hotter than the PS3.

It only over heated/froze once and it still works just fine. it also looks like the cabinent has a hole in the back? If so, its totally fine.

^^^

Is obviously a troll. Look at his profile - every PS3 game is a 1.0, and he doesn't even own them XD -

R&C is a scaled rating, and GS is biased. It's just the fact of the matter. Don't base your purchases on a bunch of numbers. Read the ratings, read ours' opinions, talk to friends... there are better ways :)

Yeah. I usually have 2 USB connected (mic charger, controller charger), and when my computer was down I connected my wireless keyboard+mouse to it (which uses 1 USB), and sometimes I connect my External HD (for transfering my music library, and photos, and stuff) or I connect my PSP for music transfers, and occasionally I use a Flash drive for school (1 USB).

So, usually 2, sometimes 3, and rarely 4. Even if I needed to use the EHDD, and the USB Flash, I could have just unplugged the chargers, and be fine though *shrug*

I use the memory slots now and then. It's nice for putting photos onto a CompactFlash for a LivePhotograph.

The wiFi is awesome, though...

So, yeah :) Gotta love the 60... (and not the 360 ;) )

yep, I have this problem. But I also keep my PS3 in a cabinent (with the door open), so it doesn't exactly get good air circulation. Although its no XBox, so its not like it breaks or anything...
