It will be 8 years for the 360 and 7 years for the ps3 before their successors are released later this year. Wii also lasted 6 years before the wii u was released last year. With the ability to update through firmware updates, and graphical upgrades not being as big of a leap as in the past is it possible that next gen could last 10+ years before the new consoles come out?

Personally I would not since I usually game in my bedroom and my cable box is in the living room.

Assuming games will still cost 60$ and the fee is less than that would it not be cheaper to borrow your friends disc, install it and pay the fee instead of buying the disc brand new?

Im planning on getting a vita and am deciding between these 2 for my first game. Right now Im leaning towards P4G since it just seems like the full package

It's been out for a year now with not much to show for it and it's looking more like the same this year with only a handful of interesting games set to release for in 2013. I can't remember but did the psp start off this slow as well? Maybe the Vita is just a late bloomer?

Gt5 wins hands down imo. More cars, better graphics, better gameplay. ONly thing Forza has on GT5 is customization.
