Hey all,

Just curious, I had been playing oblivion on first person for a while now, just because I figured from all the screenshots and such that First person is the way to go in Oblivion.

Last night, I accidentally put my game into third person, and low and behold, I think the game works great, if not better in third person! For some reason, I feel seeing my character running around and doing her thing is pretty cool. The camera has no problems, and I think it just plays "better" like this.

So, my question is, do you play in first or third, and why? Have you even tried thrid person view?

Third person would be beter if like the PC version you could take the cam all the way round the character, even zoom in a little as I find third person to be to far away.

OK I just read it all, And I agree. I never meant IM only interested in GFX Q as IM sure you must have picked up on, anyway sorry for thinking you were being an AH, It seems you were not. I agree with what you say and I think the same, it just came over like I was A GFX ***. I have been a GFX **** for over 30 years lol but without GP I wouldn't even be that.

Dont be so pathetic and small minded, I was simply stating what i see. without GFX I doubt you would have a 360 because as im sure your aware the 360 is a new breed of GFX power-house and this undoubtably made you buy the console and not just because you thought the game play may improve.  Dont be so offensive with your opinion next time please.

You know....I never thought about it that way and you're absolutely right. We all bought the system based on how the games would look because in all reality, the gameplay is still the same. Only things that have really changed are the graphics and the add of achievments (which I love)

The reports you mention actually state the 360 version is better than PC so I don't understand why you say this.

All in all the GFX shown early on had my mouth watering they looked even more defined than PDZ (yes PDZ actually looks better than Oblivion texture wise now)  Just look for yourselves at early promised GFX then look at the new footage and then tell me game play will still win you over on this game, then I could say to you its not all about game play its about GFX also.
