Went to Best buy last month and saw a presale for Zelda: THe Twilight Princess. In a fit of impulsive geekdom, i bought the stupid presale because it said that the game was being released 8-1-05. 8-1-05 came by, and i went to retrieve my game, only to find that the game isn't being released until 11-1-05. So now I have a presale purchase on a game that isn't coming out for like 3 more months, how lame, it's not like they'll sell out either, no one cares about nintendo anymore, which is sad, because they've always been so cutting edge and have so many replayable games throughout their history, but since the n64 have doomed their image, lost their 3rd party suppliers, and with the new nintendo revolution slated to come out in mid 06, it looks like they are also putting out a next gen machine with 1/4 the power of the ps3 with the only pluses being the "revolutionary controller" and the wireless game database that will allow you to download and play games from any nintendo system in the past. This isn't that big a perk, since you can just download them for free already in emulator form. I have a feeling nintendo may bow out of the home console race, and stick with only handheld systems, but even then... the DS does little to impress me over the psp. However, neither have enough games to make a fair assumption as of yet.
