I enjoyed playing FFVIII the most but FFVII has always got my vote for best FF game due to all the new innovations it brought to the series. The PS1 just opened up tons of new options and the series has never been the same since VII. I still need to go through X and XII, however, so after I get through them I may have to change my thinking. ;)

My recent blog post answers this for me and the systems I keep digging up continue to surprise me: Blog.
I loved Xenogears story but I felt like the last half of it started to give out as the game took on more of a narrative to get you to the next parts instead of actually letting you play most of them out. KOTOR, on the other hand, blew my mind with it's plot twist. I'm not spoiling it for those who havn't played, but it just stands as the best plot twist I've encountered in a game. For the very BEST story I'd have to go with Lunar 2: Eternal Blue for Sega CD. If the Saturn or PS1 versions changed any of the original story I don't want to play them since this one needs to remain untouched in memory.
26, married - 8 games (you try to get 8 games while married.... not too easy)Macri
 That is so true, but just wait until you have little ones in the house! I'm married with one 2 year old and another on the way (due in July) and I'm turning 30 this year...glad I got my PS3 when I did (even if I did get the evil eye from my wife for a few weeks) since I know I won't have money for even used games pretty soon. Average gaming time: 5 hours per week. Enjoy your gaming time when you can get it! :D
[QUOTE="smadiso1"]If the third one stays the course of the action sequences, story and acting the first two had: definitely. The second one was the best movie sequel I've ever seen...and I'll be ready to take beatings from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fans with that said.Headbanger88
Oh, It definitely does. I'd go as far to say as it surpasses both the first and second films in pace and action.
Thanks a lot, there's $8 more I need to go spend in the movies! :P Thanks for the heads up though, I'll definitely see it this week! :)
why would you make a sequel to such a good movie. there's no way the second one would be better, and what would the storyline be. he actually went to college, and then all of a sudden finds out that his dad paid of the teachers in college? i mean come on.big_old_tom
IF a story line was to be made, how about a college grad Billy teaching grade school and having to teach his own son in class? But I'm with most everyone else on this: It's a classic and a sequel would only pale in comparison most likely. Still I was curious to see how many fans would react to a question like this.
