@Vaildez: a couple weeks ago I got an email from gamestop that there was a restock, I refreshed a couple times and then it added to my cart. I dont see anywhere now to sign up for alerts like I did before they came out on their site, but thats all it took for me. I tried doing the same thing today to get xbx but no luck this time.
@Barighm: oh yeah, that would be truly a game changer. But I expect this to be $50/month on top of my current $70/month for internet, then the new games still be $60 each. sigh...
Me personally theres a lot of games I prefer physical releases so I can trade them in when I am through. If this was an affordable service like netflix, where you dont have to buy the media on top of the price of the service, it may have some hope. To just save money on the price of a console, doesnt interest me. Then be reliant on your internet service also makes me wary. Often times my internet signal varies, but I can still play plenty of my games because they are offline. This system/ framework seems a bit only appealing to a certain crowd vs the overall gaming market.
@logan117: I really wanted to buy one but with having a wiiU and them re releasing the good games for that, theres been limited appeal. I have ps4/xbox and 3ds/laptop for portable games. I feel like they are kind of leaving switch folks hanging like how they did with us wiiU people.
There seems to be a lack of actual sequels and fresh games for it.
