I am currently running a AMD Athlon 64x2 4200+ processor with an 8800 GS card and 4 gigs of ram and would like to upgrade the processor with something a little quicker, but still compatible with the mobo I currently have. I am not sure what type of mobo I have, but this is what I think, I will just type everything I see on the screen, part of it should be the mobo.

Manufacturer---ASUSTek Computer Inc.

Model---NODUSM3 1.05

Chipset---NVidia GeForce 6150LE

Southbridge---NVidia nForce 410/430 MCP

Any info would be great, just trying to speed this thing up a little more without breaking the bank, not doing any major hardcore gaming or anything, just like a quick computer.

Thanks in advance

I am getting ready to start builing my own system, and wanted an opinion on the best case out there for the money.

NZXT Apollo Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

Thats the one I picked out, but if there is something better, or maybe cheaper thats just as good, i would love to know.

It is $79.99 on the egg..

Also, how much of a difference would I notice going with dual EVGA 9600's vs. just the one. Granted I am not a hardcore pc gamer, but the games I play I like them to be as good as they can be for the most part. But how BIG of a difference would it be, taking into account the $220 price tag...

Yeah so far the price isn't looking to bad,...with everything included (tools, mouse, keyboard, speakers,...etc) I am right at $1500

XFX GeForce 8600GT 256MB DDR3

how much better would it be then my current GeForce 8500 GT 1GB DDR2????

I have a chance to get one pretty cheap and just want to know if I should get it, or save up to get something better.
