Don't you know any of the actors, or anything they were in before or are current stars of? Nothing you have posted really stands out and could be from one of many shows/movies.SaintLeonidas
They're not... big names. I mean we're talking about a TV show here, not a blockbuster movie.
And at the end of the episode the wife of the guy who are friends with the preggo lady is going on about, " Did you see its head? How can something so big come out of something so small? I don't think I can go through with that. I want an epidural. I want an epidural right now, I want..." etc etc and panicking, that kind of thing. Man I hope someone can help me out, it's killing me that I don't know the show yet.
I don't know if the show is "Coupling" or "My Family" or neither. I can recall some vague stuff like how the pregnant lady has this very... distinctive voice. It's not scratchy, it actually sounds okay, only she sounds very... well I don't want to say meek, or weak, or shy, just... not same sounding as her two blonde friends. Also the entire show is in American English, the only British-accent person was the doctor who was very serious and had a no-nonsense voice, he didn't really care about their situation other than delivering the baby and that's that. At the end her husband(?) makes it and at first the lady says it's alright, but her deadpan humored friend says otherwise, such as, "who goes on a business trip when their wife's pregnant, and to a foreign country..." etc and the preggo lady is like, "yeah, you should have been here" totally turning a 180 from before, and then she says, "I'm about to say a four letter wooooooord" and then I believe it's implied that she pushes the baby out then. Seemed more like she was passing a kidney stone to me but whatever... Anyway I hope that explains more? It's doubtful if anyone here is familiar with it but I have to take a chance.
I've only seen a single episode and... I think I found it rather humorous. It does not feature a laugh track like most comedy shows... The episode in particular focuses on a woman about to give birth in a hospital, with her 3 nervous friends supporting her, whilst waiting for the pregnant lady's husband(?) to arrive. 1 of her friends is a woman and has typical deadpan humor, the other 2 are I believe a couple, also possibly married (man and woman). I've been trying to google some of the dialogue in hopes of catching the TV series's name but no such luck. Any help would be appreciated!
