So many games has open worlds now, but the fact is: not all of them are good games, you will enjoy it on assassins creed, MGS, far cry or on the crew and NFS, but the problem is the open world is really always bugged and updates can not fix it all, at least not with one update, what's more frustrating is when a bug affects your last run "that took some real effort!!" And then the game freezes and you'll need to re-do it!!
One of he bad sides also is the comparison it will make you unintentionally do, you can't but to compare the interactive world of tomb raider and far cry, the effect of driving on the side road of NFS and the crew, the really good graphics of assassin with the awesome MGS5 graphics, those are not gaming differences only, those are also some of the major game changers that gonna affect the openworld experience your enjoying while playing.
Loved the spread of this feature between developers and platforms but they really need to agree on some standards to raise the quality of the open world and make them worth money.
After all I didn't pay 60+$ to keep downloadin 2 hours bug-fixing update in the little time we managed to free ourselves to play and ended up waiting for the "bugs" to be fixed.
Being a parent and a hardcore gamer since before NES it's really hard to enjoy my favorite hobby nowadays.
