yes, but if your just going to watch movies, why not play a blu-ray dvd player instead? its cheapers and runs cooler so you dont have to worry about the house catching on fire.
icehawk - 360 and PS3 use different GPUs. 360 chose to use ATI and PS3 chose NVIDIA, which is really surprising that 360 has better graphics because NVIDIA is ahead in the graphics department. 360 has the 500 MHz ATI Xenos which is like the Radeon R600. PS3 uses 550 MHz NVIDIA/SCEI RSX 'Reality Synthesizer' which is like the NVIDIA 7800. ATI gave the 360 a x4 anti-aliasing and the PS3 i believe doesnt have anti-aliasing, which makes a huge difference.
why would gamespot even try to compare PC vs 360 vs PS3. PC wins every time. the 360 isnt too too bad, it more darker and rough around the edges. PS3 is just poop...i guess most people buy a PS3 just to have one, because the graphics on every game ive seen blow. i dont see how anyone can play on one...
i think its funny that people are going out and spending thousands of dollars when i can run AOC on very high settings and built my computer for $800...
