I can't believe it! It took them so long to send the letter that I was beginning to doubt I had made it at all. However, in the mail today, was this letter I received from my college.

"Dear [not showing my name],

It is my distinct pleasure to inform you that your name has been placed on the Edcc [shortened it to hide school name] Dean's Honor Roll for Winter Quarter 2005. Based on your excellent scholastic work during Winter Quarter, you met the Honor Roll terms of completing 12 or more credits, in decimal-graded, college level courses numbered 100 or above, with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.

Additionally, students who maintain a 3.5 GPA and have accumulated a minimum of 16 credits toward an AAS or ATA Degree may be eligible to join our chapter of the national honors society...."

It goes on about contact information and what not, but you get the point. Someone's gonna have to tie a string to my ankle because my head's going to swell up and carry me off into the sky. I would like to thank GameSpot for this honor due to it's ability to keep my sanity when school got really...really hard. Here's to maintaining that GPA.
