Ok so it's been a while.

Life speeds up when you hit a certain age I am noticing. It has its ups and downs indeed, but I think its good in the end. On the gaming front I am now the proud owner of a DS. Enjoying the New Super Mario Brothers and Final Fantasy III. I swear the FF series dictates what systems I buy.

That being said I truely believe Nintendo has done everything right to attract the "fun" in gaming all over again. They have re-captured all the people who used to play the original Super Mario. The older audience, the and the younger audience combined. The NES was a family system, made for all ages. The Wii is identical, and its 100% fun. Its the rebirth of a whole new breed of gamers. Maybe we will see a new Zelda, or a new Final Fantasy series spawn out of all this. Something new that players will latch on to for 15- 20 years. It all has to start somewhere.

Well so far, FF XII is drawing much of my attention, the feel of the game is absolutely amazing in my eyes.  Collectors Edition is now joining the ranks of my Final Fantasy Shrine. :D

I haven't quite attached to a character yet, but there is lots of time for that yet.  I know there is much yet to happen in the development of charaters to come.

Musical score is great I think, so far the remixed original themes stand out for me the most.  I have also noticed a few nods to FF IV, definitely a very good thing.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is around the corner!!

Also Grandia III is now mine, and I must say I am rather enjoying it. LIke really really. The story line is better than I first thought it was going to be. Though I am mad I don't get to play with Miranda for the current time. I hope she comes back later in the game or I will be quite upset.
