the orange box has 5 games in one. i'm assuming from the choice between hl2 and cod4 you aren't concerned about portal, and even so i would still suggest the orange box. and portal will surprise you with it's addictiveness and charm.

if you are looking for a better online multiplayer experience, go with cod4.

remember, this is an awesome problem to have. the orange box is fantastic, and cod4 looks to be great too.
