if your gpu overheating, u can fix the airflow in your case by adding exhaust fan in PCI slot.. that work in me..

at least use 8600GT with good brand.. then overclock it till max.. i think thats enough to play that game..

i think if u want to improve your gaming performance u should overclocked your graphic card not your proc..

i use G 8800GT too, and i think it very hard playing game in 1600x1050 res with high quality graphic.. i suggest u upgrade your graphic card to R 3870X2 or G 9800GX2 or wait till R 4xxx series released in july..

intel rig is much better than AMD rig.. the sure thing is Q6600 combined with X48 chipset can fly very high.. woah...
