WarRock and Gunz are good if you want something thats like a kind of MMOFPS, there's no persisent world in either but there is leveling up and buying equipment.
Played AO for a short time, never had the time to figure it out, so I might go back to it. Maplestory could be a good MMO for kids... IMO it was pretty simple. Why the heck is Runescape on this list... It got me started on MMOs but its the worst game on this list. Its below the complexity level of Maplestory, so its not good for teens... And I would know, since I happen to be one... Have to agree with musicaz70 about Pirates. I have no idea whats wrong with it, its incredibly laggy. Gotta try that Air Rivals though....
