Legend of Dragoon had it all...Its so far above all other RPGs, the story is literally breathtaking...

to this day i cant explain the story. it goes through so many ups and downs, disc 1 is a different world than disc 2, 3, 4. It all has its different feels...I feel like its 4 games in one, because its so epic and you start so small and weak and become pure awesomeness in the game lol...

Legend of Dragoon was underrated, and underappreciated for sure. I would ask anyone that hasnt tried it, to look for a copy on ebay or something. I can guarantee you a very enjoyable play from it...and a remake would be awesome if they capture the original essence...easier said than done :)

1.Component is not as good as picture as HDMI. However, they work just as well just not better picture, perse'

2.Component cables will work with any tv be it hd or sd. However, most SD tvs do not have component hookups, DVD players do, so if you have an SD tv hooked up to a DVD player, you can get a picture from it. But i dont think it will look too great having to go through electronics. Stick with Composite (red, white, yellow) cables if hooking up to SDtv

3.What I would do is save my composite cables that came with my PS3 and use it when neccessary on SDtvs, and buy an HDMI cable that hooks up to my HDTV playing needs. That way you are covered. Just make sure your HDTV has an HDMI hookup

If your HDTV is older, it probably doesnt have HDCP (High-Def Digital Content Protection) making HDMI useless to the PS3. But i doubt your HDTV wont have HDCP

Ive only had my PS3 for a week, and ive had a 360 for a cpl of years...

I will be buying most of my games that are multi plat, for PS3...ive never had it freeze up or give me any problems...i know i will have one sooner or later, but for now, it seems like a well made well optimized machine..

MGS4 is probably my favorite game of all time, along with MGS :)

Assuming that sony hasnt come out with a version of PS4 or whatever they will call it, I would have to think they will have a big edge by then...I read in a Game Informer that the graphics of the PS3 can increase 90 percent over a firmware update...True or not, the possibility is possible lol...
