With all of the new releases of Sonic games for Sonic's 15th brthday, the celebrations were short-lived. Lately, with all of the terrible games that Sega has been releasing with Sonic, it seems like they have it in for our beloved hedgehog.

Let's look at where all of these problems started...

SONIC HEROES--

Completely and utterly abysmal gameplay that requires too much of a puzzle-feel (to me) to the levels. It has a descent enough storyline, but the awkward controls and cheesy dialogue make the game a failure

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG--

Just the flat out worst game ever, need I say more???

SONIC RIVALS--

The occasional sense of sped just isn't enough to make up for the incredibly hard difficult and the fact that you can't do anything but race against others.

With these games, and no games that look any bettr in sight, the fate of the hedgehog looks bleek.

Grr......I really wish that I could get both of the consoles, bu I guess I shoulod be nice to my paents and have them only get one, or I could have them get a PS3 and then I could buy a Wii by myself, but this post is about the choice, now let's compare.

Shooter Launch Title:

PS3-Resistance      Looks absolutely amazing....WINNER!!!!

Wii-Red Steel         Lots of flaws to it....LOSER!!!!

RPG Title:

PS3-Oblivion        A great adventure.

                               TIE!!!!

Wii-Twilight Princess     Looks good and new, rather have GC version.

Best Games Overall:

PS3                 Much more adult....WINNER!!!!

Wii                  Too Kiddie overall....LOSER!!!!

The One I want:

PS3!!!!!

Ok, I know I'm kind of ripping off Jeff Gertmanns idea here, but since I don't have a camera, I'll have to just put the stuff on here in plain text. My total accounted score so far is 2,750...not that high, but not bad. A lot of that score came from Tomb Raider: Legend, but I've also bui up a high Dead Rising score, and working on my Marvel Ultimate Alliance Acheivements. It's going take a while to get those achievements, because for one of them you have to do a lot of Xbox Live games, or constantly invite friends over to clear 25 levels with at least three other people, or win a total of 100 competitive arcade matches. Dead Rising has some pretty wacky achievments, like never missing with a machine gun or taking down a Spel Ops helicopter. Tom Raider won't be too hard to finish up, I just do know if I have the energy or the willpower to be able to play through the game again. All of my other games share some pretty low scores, all less than 500, most less than 350. But I'll hopefully be able to bost up my gamerscore by another 1000 by the end of the week...If I'm lucky.

Ok, so I just downloaded the trial version of Ultimate MK3 from Xbox Live, and I was thinking to myself on how old this game has to be. The graphics are pretty bad, but definetly cleaned up from whatever the original graphics looked like. But it's definetly still MK, and that's the kinda game that I really like!

WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?! The gaming industries have officially, and completely run out of good game ideas. First, they begin releasing games based on the movies, and these are not good, and are actually some of the farthest things from it. But you haven't heard the worst yet. So I was walking down one of the aisles in Target, when I see a DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES computer game, and thats when it came upon me, the gaming industry has run out of good ideas for games.

I hope that the world will be able to recover...
