@Fallenlords69: I got to agree with you for the most part. I like BF1 , but BF hasn't really changed much since BF3. Hardly any real changes made to the games mechanics since then, but the mechanics that are there get the job done. People want a change, but when that does happen people bitch, like what has been happening with COD these past couple years. Now I know in the case with COD there are other variables going on there, because there are still plenty of people who are looking forward to COD IW, including myself. However, and have enjoyed AW and BO3 as well. I think with Gears whats there is also great, with some exceptions.
I finished the campaign a couple days ago, and I really didn't like the end, along with the first couple hours as stated in this article as well. I see what they were going for at the beginning, but with the bland shootouts it kinda almost turned me off a bit. The prolouge itself sort of reminded me that I never really was a particular fan of Gears, but I still enjoyed playing the games. Not to mention, my controls needed some fine tuning as the controls still feel kinda tanky in this game. Not as much as previous games, but I think the franchise could use looser controls, something more "modern" I guess you could say.
Anyways, there are definitely things I enjoyed about the campaign, but I feel it could have been a bit better. Multiplayer on the other hand is a bit of a love hate kinda thing, sort of like Halo, its great, but again I feel the controls kinda hold me back at times. I think this game is more of an 8 than a 7.
@angrycreep: Its probably all the high res textures that aren't going to really look that much better after high settings. Because its the exact same game, so that's the only thing that can explain the extra 36GB's or so. Either way that is still a bitt much for textures. They need to learn that compression is your friend.
@iandizion713: Real warefare? Ok, don't think just because you've seen a couple of BF1 trailers you think you know "real warefare". The closest you are going to get to real warfare is a milsim, and those barely strike that "real" chord. Don't copy what everyone is saying, form your own opinion. Any large scale conflict is war regardless of how much the theme interets you.
I don't have a problem with this as long as IW is good, but man are they going to piss off a lot of COD fanboys, hahaha, and guess what? They are probably going to buy it anyways, hahaha. XD
@gameplayuk: Yeah, this barely looks like they remastered it. All it looks like they did was increase resolution in textures and image, and that is it. Which in some cases just makes the textures look worse. Just look at the textures on the zombies, they look so old, and stretched.
