Then you're just left with stealth/third-person shooter gameplay. Not everyone likes stealth games and third-person shooters, so that sort of cripples it from being the best (i.e. unanimously agreed-upon) game.Meh, I guess there are some people that don't really like the game. I like it, even without cutscenes.

Have you ever even played the game?Yes, and while it may be on a top 500 list of the best games ever made, it's by no means the greatest game of all time. It has its fair share of flaws, namely the obnoxiously long cutscenes.
Don't assume someone hasn't played your favorite game just because they don't like it. I swear, if I had a penny for every time someone looked at me funny for saying I don't like Smash Bros or FF7, I'd be filthy rich...
