HELL YEAH! IM BACK INTO PC GAMING! After almost a year away from gaming I'm back! It's amazing what a new job can do to your free time, well not so new anymore because I've been working at Hecticus for 7 months already so it's not so much a "new job" anymore.

Since last time I bought a new monitor, my Samsung 17 inch CRT was way too old! hehehe but now I'm the owner of a 21.5 inch Samsung LCD, how cool is that? xD so awesome!! thx "not-so-new-job-anymore". I'm currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and in case you didn't know… is incredible awesome, I've been so addicted lately to the multiplayer and the Spec Ops, that is probably not healthy. I also got Left 4 dead 2 and it's really awesome too but I I'm putting that one on the back burner, I only have time right now for one game, and that is MW2, but trust me when I say that I'll probably be fighting the zombie apocalypse again really, really soon!

yes its a veronica mars reference, it doesnt have anything to do with actual weapons or actual destruction. anyway the reason for the use of that episode name ( yes i loved veronica mars, and yes im still angry of that show getting canceled) is to mark the start of classes at the university again well technically it was last week (hehehe the post is a week late but hey I've been busy), and it suxz ballz but hey its my last semester so like Rick James used to say "its a celebration B!tches" in gaming news im still "playing" red alert 3, if having the game installed on your pc and looking at the icon is playing, the same with left 4 dead although i think thats more of being tired of the same maps again and again so maybe ill play when valve release the new maps, i hope is not that soon or my grades are in jeopardy hehehe. i just needs to adjust to the new schedule before i can actually have time to do stuff besides going to class, thx god my cousin let me borrow his old laptop and that helps a lot getting the job done on my free hours between classes. but i do need to buy my own, wish me luck if everything goes according to plan i will have my own, ill let you guys know cya.

THE END IS NEAR!!!!! HAHAHAHA yes i been playing Left 4 Dead for the past few days, and all i can say is THE GAME IS FREAKING AWESOME!!! i havent been this hook on a game for a long time (yes i been playing A LOT) im freaking addicted. the game is not perfect the story is generic just like the characters but you just want the action!! and playing by yourself is really not an option, the great thing about the game is the co-op. thats what i like it so much, the game is great if you play with friends. also the game is incredible challenging on expert. i mean is freaking tough the ai director is a mother#$@%*r!!! THIS IS TRUE (if you have played the game you know that comic is SO true ) but it can be beaten with a lot of skill and little luck. i got to find a way to play and work because my job is in jeopardy thanks to this game hehehehe.

wow its been a while since the last post, i have been so busy at the university that i didnt have time to write and even less time to play games :-( but anyway lets talk about the games that i played since the last post... Gears of war: great game! i have tons of fun with it, and it can be really challenging at times (general RAAM!!! yes im talking about you! you FRAKING piece of bantha poodoo!!! this fraker its insanely though) but its a great game. In the story department not so strong but its the game play that make it a great game!! even with mouse + keyboard. i did have a few bugs here and there like my saved games disappearing like 5 times, but it wasnt a big deal i just had to find how to load the levels with the developer console so nothing mayor. like i said before i found my reason to buy a xbox 360. Gears of war 2 ;-) Brothers in arms: hells high way. WOW this game brought me back the love for WW2 games. story wise the game its awesome!! especially if you played the last 2. for me its the best of the series because all the improvements in game play and tactics. the weapons are great and those moments with grenades explosions and head shots are amazing!! they appear frequently but they are awesome!! from the first time they appear to the last one you see you never get tired of those. Tomb Raider: underworld. OK i can honestly say this game was a disappointment. i was never a fan of tomb raider to begin with but the guys at Crystal Dynamics did a great job with legend and anniversary so what happened to this one is just sad. the camera goes horrible too often! and its so often you cant ignore it. but hey i decided to keep playing just to find a bug that wont let me advance... im just stuck on freaking Mexico because a ramp wont open!!! so that's it!! i just cant take it i just cant keep playing that crappy game, maybe if i find a patch or something ill try again but not right now. Resident Evil 4: its a cool game the story looks cool but the pc controls are awful and that mouse patch doesnt work either. i guess i could buy a gamepad or something but im sooooo broke that doesnt sound like an option right now. so ill wait to play it on my brothers wii or something. but now im playing Red Alert 3. YES IS SO AWESOME!!! im not an RTS fan. hell i dont play RTS games, but i love red alert 2. thats the only rts that i enjoy and that i find fun. and this one is looking great i bit more RTS heavy than RA2 but im still gona play it. ill write about it later i think this post is long enough! cya

yes! im heading back to WW2. and its kinda weird, because im been loving the modern combat shooters that i been playing lately, and i thought that i was done with WW2 because well i have won WW2 like 100 times. but hey that changed when i played brothers in arms hells highway at a friends house, and i remember how much i like WW2 specially Brothers in Arms those are some of my favorite games of last gen consoles so i got myself a copy of BiA for my PC and im ready to kill some krauts!

it never ends...! hahahaha!. YES i am playing Gears of War on my PC. YES is totally awesome! YES I WTB A FREAKING LANCER FOR XMAS! how cool is This more details about it later! but i can say i found a reason to buy a xbox 360... Gears of War 2 even with the fear of having the freaking RRoD note: in case you never played WoW "WTB" means "want to buy"... its not that funny if i have to explain it.

so i keep saying that i wont spend more money on my current PC, but two weeks ago i end up, somehow , upgrading more stuff, hehehe. its not a mayor upgrade but a new video card and a bigger and faster hard drive always help. I changed the old ASUS 6600gt for a XFX 8500gt. its a nice card but i think the drivers on my old ASUS where much better. the only complain that i have so far is that i cant use the tv-out on the card anymore to watch podcast, tv series and movies on my standard def tv, and that sucks! big time!.i cant find a s-video to rca cable that actually works! with the card and my tv doesnt have and s-video input so im "frak" (yes thats a Battlestar Galactica reference, im a fan) .now i have to do what i used to do like 4 years ago, watch them on my computer screen, at least until im able to buy a new TV ;-) with an s video input or perhaps a HDTV but being broke as i am thats gonna take a while. Also i changed the old 80 gb IDE hard drive for an 160 gb SATA drive for my primary disc and left the 80gb as a backup. i have to say its nice to have spare room on the hard drive specially i you want to install new games, that tends to take LOTS of space. now that i think about it ill try gears of war again maybe now i can play it because with the 6600gt it was unplayable.

yes, im console less again so that means ill have to stick to the pc for gaming, its not a bad thing but the wii reminded me how fun its to have a current gen console. but hey I did finished Twilight Princess and i have to say its a great game, the story its great but the game has a few things that make it look old and dated, but it was still a lot of fun to play. the the boss fights are not challenging enough for me. i mean when you enter the room to the boss fight and you see a boss make its spectacular entry that makes you say "HOLLY S**T" but is not tough to beat that was a bit disappointing. but still its a GREAT game, if you own a wii you should play it. also a friend let me borrow his GH3:legends of rock for the wii and i got to say i remember that game been a lot more fun i guess that once you got rock band you never go back xD seriously i love rock band but GH not so much anymore, i think those games are about having fun with friends not the biggest streak on notes that i can make, but hey thats just me. since last time i also finished CoD4 wow! the best fps that i played this year. R6V1 & V2 are great games but CoD4 i something beyond! why you may ask well for me it was the story and the way it was told. not the game mechanics because lets face it is a standard shooter also something else that was great to see is the way the battlefield felt alive, you fell like you are just a little piece in the conflict not the all mighty war hero that leaves pile body's all by himself just like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando (BTW commando the greatest comedy EVERRRRR! hahahaha) the only thing bad about CoD4 is that is just too short its what like 7 hours of game play? thats not right too short for me. the Multiplayer its awesome and a lot of fun with friends but i dont think im gonna be playing that for long. not because dont want to just dont have the time now that i have to go the university again and work.

It's been a while since the last post, I seriously need to stop procrastinating hehehe well lets talk about games that I played since the last time. I finished Rainbow Six Vegas 2 like 2 months ago that game is awesome!! i like it a lot, everything from the AI to the squad tactics are great, the story not so great at least you get some conclusion after the events of R6V1 but the way the story is told is not so good you almost forget is there. That's the only complain that I have. I also got the chance to help a friend in coop play on his ps3 and its still a blast to play. Also last month I got a copy of bioshock to tell you the truth I only played like for an hour or so, didn't like it, Im sure the story its cool and everything but I don't know, I just didn't like it and that suxs because it really looked like a good story, if you ask me what I didn't like I cant say what exactly was I just didn't like it. Im not saying the game its bad or anything it just didn't do it for me. In other news my cousin who is out of town lend me his Wii with Zelda Twilight Princess and all that I have been playing for the last 3 days its Zelda, im a big Zelda fan ever since the legend of Zelda on the NES but I can honestly say Ocarina of Time ist the best game EVER not only of the Zelda games but in games in general but that just my opinion hehehe and the cool thing of TP is that in some aspects it reminds me of OoT but with enough differences to be great on its own, im really enjoying the game, the only part that suxs it that I have to return the Wii in two weeks so I have to play fast to try to do all the game has to offer. Also I did a small upgrade to my PC yesterday I changed the AMD64 3000+ for an AMD64 4000+ plus an extra 1gb of RAM which makes the PC run even smoother it was a really cheap update like 50$ or something. But not only I have Zelda to play, I also yesterday got my hands on a copy of Call of Duty 4. And with the new parts the game runs great. I haven't got the chance to sit down and play but only with the intro to the first mission I realize that Im gonna get hook with the SP campaign not to mention with the multiplayer, now the only problem it's gonna be divide the time within work and play. Oh boy I think my job is in jeopardy then HAHAHA. That's all for now ill try to update more often.

so the past sunday i had the chance to play gta 4 and rock band at a friend house, and only one word comes to my head AWESOME, i know those games have been out for a while but right now i don't own a "current generation" console so gaming for me this days is pc exclusively, and that is pretty limited too because like i said before my pc is 2 years old but anyway the point is those games are so fun to play. let me start with GTA, wow all i can say is that i cant wait to get a console to play that game, stealing virtual cars, running over virtual pedestrians and killing virtual cops never looked as good. i honestly didnt play any part of the missions or history because i didnt want to see any spoilers but i spent all the time running through the city causing mayhem. i liked a lot the way the police goes after you even with one star that makes you think twice every time you are about to commit a felony and the way the people in the game respond to the environment, i mean i was being chased by cops one time in a highway or something and was going really really fast suddenly i crashed an incoming police car and the cop in the passenger seat flew through the windshield and landed on the floor that was so unexpected but totally awesome , one other cool thing was when a cop tried to arrest me while inside a car, he opened the door but i started the car and he was holding to the door of the moving car, the drunk driving is so funny, i was laughing out loud when niko and roman came out of the bar barely walking the humor in the game is awesome i honestly cant wait to seat down and play it all the way through. then it was rock band time, that game is the definition of party in a box, that game is just fun, the guitar controler in my opinion is better than the GH one it heavier it feels like "more real still plastic" guitar, but the thing that blew me away was the drums, those are really fun to play but at least for me are kinda hard, i have never played an intrument in my life and having to coordinate the hands for the pads and the pedal was hard for me but still i had a blast playing.the epic moment of the day was me singing the Timmy song... yes "Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld song" first of all i dont sing, killing a cat sounds better than me singing , so when for some reason i ended up singing the song and that became one of the funniest moments of the day... and now im obligated every time we play rock band to sing that song at least one time. well this post is long enough so i better stop here, cya
