I haven't been on the forums for a while, so I dunno if people have already asked about this, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a squad or two for Battlefield3. I don't want to make a clan or anything, just three or four guys (or girls) who want to work as a team and communicate. I only know two people with the game and they're never on when i am due to timezone issues. If anyone is interested in playing my GT is UPdawg101. I'll be online in about half an hour, so hit me up.

Halo Reach: Cross Mappin'

Way too freaking hard to get. You have to shoot someone across a huge map, from one end of hemorrage to the other. My roommate got it with a sniper rifle. Don't get that, but whatever.

[QUOTE="Sushiglutton"]Have played the ps3 beta some with my buddy. I like it :). Weapons feel great, looks fine, smoth controls. Beside some bugs my biggest issue is that I don't know how to mute other players. I've quit a couple of matches with screaming players. Any tip on this issue?Elann2008
Buy the PC version. :) :P

Or you could scream back, extra loud. that works sometimes. ;)

i've been playing it on 360. I was pleasently surprised. My roommate is a COD fanboy and told me the Beta sucked, but i tried it anyway. It was worth it, BF3 looks amazing even on 360. I loved the movement, it felt like what brink tried to do, but more refined. You can vault, slide, or jump over anything if it's in your capacity. The controls were new to me so i sucked at first, but once i got used to it, it was a lot of fun. I'm excited for the full game.

With a game that size, it's hard for there not to be some bugs. But the ones in Oblivion really aren't that bad for the most part, though some people complain that their save files won't load. I haven't had this happen, but it happens I guess. The PS3 version has more bugs and glitches than the 360 version. I noticed way more texture problems and clipping when playing my friend's PS3. Also keep in mind, Oblivion was released in '05, which means it was made '03-'04ish, so it's kind of old now (relatively).

Meh, too streamlined for me. I really like the current dashboard, it's fairly simple and it looks inviting and fun. This new one is kind of boring.

I think they need to get more inventive with the acheivements. Stuff like "Kill five opponents with the burnt out hilt of a plasma sword,(Halo)" or "Use a martyrdom grenade to set off a claymore that kills a guy and causes his martyrdom grenade to kill another guy who loses out on his next killstreak.(COD)" That second one might be hard to plan, but if you did it, you'd be the god of cod. Making acheivements exciting and inventive might provide more incentive for completing them all.

My roommate and I have been having trouble getting Black Ops multiplayer to start. It works maybe once out of every ten times we try. Other people at our school have been saying the same thing. It may just be our network that's having problems, but I haven't had any issues with my other online games. Has anyone else been experiencing this problem lately, or any idea why it might be happening?

Why does nobody believe him? Legitimate copies of games always get sold early. Vendors just decide to break street date because, why the hell not?

The game was finished a month ago and has probably already been shipped to shops the world over. Now they're just sitting there for no reason until September 20th rolls around.

balfe1990

That may be true, but so far the proof he's shown in those pictures is questionable at best. I could find at least five things wrong with each of those pics showing their illegitimacy. I've heard these stories dozens of times, and every single time their fake.

Also, breaking the street date with a big name title like Gears of War, would be extremely stupid on the part of any legit vendor. They'd be begging for a lawsuit. Breaking a contract with a big name dev. is a really bad idea.

Anything that's super hard, with low points it's pretty bad. Like "Score a 100 hit combo"- 10 points. Also, anything that you're going to do anyways in the game is stupid. I can understand getting an acheivement for beating Halo on Heroic or Legendary, heck beating the game should always be an acheivement, but some, like Oblivion, are way too easy. For Oblivion, all you have to do is beat each storyline and faction quest, and you get every acheivement.
