@sts106mat: haha I feel you mean, actually add both Andromeda (hopefully properly patched) and Isolation to my backlog of games.

mmmm man, that demo really let me down and the controls are too slow for my liking but theres a lot of positivity around it. I might eventually get to it once I'm done with TW3, Resi 7 and Horizon. I think I might finally get back to TW3 this week.

If its a hevaily discounted price then sure. If not, no. The campaign is ok, kinda fun and funny at times but nothing special. This game is all about the mp and its the best mp shooter I've played in years.

I just wana add, I do think some of them are very good games, Mass Effect, Resi and Parasite Eve but I think they were all upped by differnet games, some in their own series.

I'd have none of those games in my top 10, I haven't played some of them tbf but Advent Rising was actually horrendous. It felt so floaty and I couldnt get past the f irst couple hours, although I remember playing Mass Effect years later and thinking it had a similar look lol

@Jacanuk: Half Life had some exploration and wasn't a straight up shooter, I agree but thats where the similarities end. Freeman handled a milion times better, was quicker, guns felt better, the hsooting was a more wel lrounded experience and by the time ep 2 was released it was one of the most polished shooters of all time. Then again, it is only the demo I've tried so I won't say too much on it.

Boring! That's the only word that comes to mind. It doesn't help that character movement is so slow and aiming is so off. This is meant to be a fps not an art exhibition.

None really. UC4 has some of the best character models I've ever seen and Detroit might raise the bar. Then again, Hellblade is supposed to be released this year, so we shall see.

I will say show your friends BF1 on PC, full settings if you can, because the environments on tha tlook amazing.
