The format is weird, but it's better for people like myself who are visually impaired. I'll give GS a cookie for that...on second thought, nah. I'll keep my cookie for myself...actually I'm not sure if I'm supposed to eat cookies. Oh well.

It looks like they took away emoticons. How can I express myself, darn it?!

After taking two classes this past summer, I only had a week to relax before Fall semester started and my return to work so I've been M.I.A. for the most part outside of some appearances in comments on gaming articles on the front page. Little did I know a shitstorm was brewing because GS is getting rid of unions, some advanced user settings like username colors (we just got this option this year...) and pretty much everything will be wiped clean with emblems, levels, and points. Are they deleting posts too? Because they might as well since they seem to be on a roll. Granted, I knew GS was going to get a makeover for like a year now and that we might have to restart our levels. I was fine with that, but then everything else came as a surprise. A very unwelcomed surprise.

I've been here for almost 10 years so I was active during the early days of unions when they were super active and people would send you like 20 invites per day. Unions have been a big part of GS since 2006, especially when you got tired of the trolls and a-holes in the regular forum. Now I really just don't know what to think of this site. I've lost interest in it awhile ago, plus I'm really busy with school since it's senior year for me. 

This isn't a goodbye blog or anything like that, but honestly GS hasn't been the same 2008. That was the peak for me. Or maybe I just grew out of it since I was 13 when I first joined this place...guess I'm just sour when it comes to unwanted changes. Well I'll continue to be on zetaboards instead. You're more than welcome to join the hangout known as The Roll Call. I'm an admin there so I appear more often there than I do here. Or if you have a ps3, you can find me on psn (soulless4now). I don't log on there so often right now, but that's another story for another time.

I totally didn't realize my last blog was in May and now it's August. lol Anyway, I've been busy with my summer classes. The second one I'm taking right now requires lots of studying so I don't have much time for anything else. We have a quiz or exam every week so no free time for me. I haven't really gamed much since early July. :cry: 

I'm going to the casino tomorrow though. I need a break from studying. I only have two weeks left of this last class, then I get a week's break before fall semester starts. The midterm we took earlier this week was depressing. I haven't really slept much either since it's the second hardest class of my major.

Writing anymore would be troublesome because I'm extremely lazy though I should be studying for my quiz on tuesday.

Did I miss anything worthwhile since I've been away? I only read GS articles, comment on them and then log off. That's my daily routine for this site. No wonder I'm still level 64. Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa  

It's been like a month and half since my last blog. I got caught up in school. Too much was going on...I had one teacher that wasn't grading any of our work so I had to send her an email about that and she tried to fail me on an assignment she didn't read. Totally called her lazy in that email for that sole reason. She took it like a trooper. She's lucky I wasn't feeling like a meanie that day. >_> For the first time ever, I was ready to report a teacher to a college dean, but in the end, I got that F changed to the A it should've been and that lazy professor graded everything before the grading deadline after finals. :) Wasn't too happy about my grades after finals though. I got two A's and a C, but I've never been so happy to get a C because I was starting to hate that class very much (it was Disorders of Swallowing) because my teacher was overloading us with information since she was like two weeks behind on her lectures. -___- That made me stop reading the textbook, which caused me to miss a 15 point essay question on that final exam, plus I ran out of time since the whole test was short answer (meaning write her a paragraph :roll: ), three essay questions and two pages of fill in the blanks. I was totally supposed to get a D, but she bumped my grade up to a C and that's when I was ready to dance out of pure joy and relief. Sadly, I'll have the same teacher again for a summer class I'll be taking in July. FML, man. FML! :cry: Not sure how I'm going to put up with her for almost 8 hours a week for six weeks. Anyone want to join me for some rum instead? :P I was happy to at least get the two A's in my Speech Hearing Science and Special Education classes. *thumbs up*

Other things that happened: 

• I was invited to join the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. It's one of the oldest honor societies in the U.S. for all majors. You need like a 3.5 GPA or higher or something. :question: At first, I was like, "I don't care" because I saw they wanted me to pay $90 to join and I have to pay $50 every year afterward, but then I realize it would be useful for grad school especially since I have two C's on my transcript now so that's when I changed my mind. I was forced to dress up and go to their boring ceremony. I got a certificate with my name, a pin and a medallion. The worst part was that the food wasn't even that good. I listened to them talk for an hour and a half only to be served some potatoes, asparagus, beef and roll. :| My aunt was disappointed I didn't invite her. I told her it's because they wanted $45 per person for guests and I thought that was a rip off, but then she told me she would've paid, so I was like "Oh..." xD She can come to graduation instead. That's cheaper at least. :P
• My birthday was like two weeks ago or something. I'm 23 now. I'm right there at my mid '20s. It's like I'm hanging off a cliff until the 24th birthday comes around and says, "Hi, I'm the early mid-life crisis. How can I help you? Do you want rum or vodka with that crisis?" Yep, something like that. 
• That twist in Iron Man 3...unforgiveable. Shame on whoever thought it was a good idea to troll me like that. I hope Man of Steel takes away some of my disappointment next month. /oink oink 
• I quit my job and I couldn't be happier! *dances* Seriously, I didn't have enough work to do most of the time. I'll look for a new one in late July, early August since that's when my school will post them online. Already updated my resume in anticipation. 
• Been studying for the GRE too. Biggest pain in the ass ever. No one in their right mind says most of those big words in everyday conversational speech. :| Like I'm ever going to say "ameliorate" while talking to someone. I don't even know what it means! >_<

So yeah that's what I've been doing and not doing. :| On a side note, I started drinking alcohol at 11:40 this morning. I had a strawberry daquiri. I want another before my cousins come home from school and I have to argue with them over the proper time to do homework. It's troublesome. Children in general are troublesome. Like bad children are the most troublesome. If I had a dollar for every troublesome child in southern California, I'd be quite wealthy. :lol: 

Summer school started yesterday for me. I'm taking two classes. The one I'm in now is Aural Rehabilitation (-yawns-). There's nothing fun about being in a 7.5 hour class for six weeks, but the teacher was cool and he let us have an hour lunch break and let us go 1 hour and 30 minutes early, but once 3pm hit, everyone was tired, even the teacher. One girl started shaking her desk and yelled, "I can't take it anymore!" I was amused to say the least and the teacher made fun of the audiology teacher we all had that retired last fall since he had him back in the '70s and he was terrible back then too. :lol: I have to read four chapters for his class by next week. I should get started on that. :!:

I'm trying to volunteer at a hospital this summer too. Need to start making myself look good for grad school. I have to wait until June 1st to call them. I just hope they pick up the damn phone unlike the last three times I called them. xD 

And one quick Naruto related rant after reading chapter 632: [spoiler] Sakura thinks she's on the same level as Sasuke and Sasuke's boyfriend. Trolololol, that gave me a good laugh. I swear she's trying to impress Sasuke since she went back to ignoring Naruto after he and Sasuke saved her from getting beat up by Juubi fodder and she made googly eyes at him in 631. Talk about nostalgia, she hasn't changed at all. That goes for Ino too. Shame on both of them and shame on Kishimoto for that. I laughed harder reading this chapter compared to the one last week. :lol: +1 for Sasuke showing another expression that wasn't indifferent for the second time in like 200+ chapters. -1 for only having Tobirama in one panel this week. +1 for Madara wanting real wood from his beloved Hashirama. +1 for Obito and Kakashi not being shown. -1 for TenTen still being alive. Also -100 for Sakura still being alive too. Her death will do wonders for the manga, I kid you not. :twisted: +200 for Naruto and Hinata still having a chance Woohahaha!!! /fangirls [/spoiler]

I'm here but I'm not here and now I'm sort of back. I was on a GS brreak for a little while. This semester started off rocky. Had to drop one class because the material was too much for my brain--literally! Had a death in the family and that only fueled my lack of concentration for my Neurogenics class so I got rid of it. Sadly, I won't be able to take it until next year spring, but on the bright side I don't have to be in the class with the three annoying females in my major.^^ 

I was to make a best and worst 2012 list months ago. Screw that. So I'll go with my Most Anticipated movie list instead. They're in order this time around of what I really want to see most. <3

Happy late 2013 everyone! Once again, I've become lazy with blogging but it happens. Finally time to tell what I've been up to since my last real blog months ago:

• Got all A's for my fall classes (Audiology, Sociology of Popular Culture and Yoga). The audiology teacher retired after the semester so hopeful the next one is better since I have three more classes to take under that category.
• I'm finally considered a senior since I have over 90 units now. That took forever. -__- But yay, I can almost taste graduation which is next fall as long as everything goes according to plan and my major doesn't screw me over again with bad class scheduling...again. >.>
• Going to be getting a new job at school. One of the supervisors in enrollment services wanted one us student workers to help her out so I'll be helping with paperwork related to graduate students or something like that. I really don't know since they just told me last friday. lol I was pressured into taking the job since I had the best schedule out of the other 2 students, but my current supervisor is sad that I'm leaving since I'm the only one that wanted to work the week after fall semester ended and has been there most during winter break. :P
• For christmas, I got gift cards, jackets, some random vampire novel (o_O), money, The Avengers blu-ray, body lotion/perfume set and The Hunger Games book trilogy.
• Been drinking lots of dark rum since the semester ended.
• Possibly have my dorm room to myself when I go back next week. My roommate moved out before finals to the one of the on-campus dorms. I'm glad since she was working on my nerves due to her being a crybaby and always whining money (she didn't want to get a job...) or the other noisy people, plus she didn't like washing her hands after using the bathroom. I was lysoling door knobs and light switches because of it. :? That was freaking gross especially since she's planning to become aphysical therapist. I feel sorry for her future clients.
• Played lots of Tales of Graces f last month, but not so much this month.
