I'm no liking the new characters so far. Heck! they look almost the same. It seems that for the male protagonists they just used the original Black and White character and just changed his clothes and the hair.

Blah, Blah, Blah. You're one of those people who think the higher the cost the better it is. Do you know that for a lot less money you can get a powerful laptop that do way more than a tablet.
According to a developer, it is more powerful than the 360. According to apple it's 3 times more powerful than tegra 3. PROOF graphics don't make a system.

DUDE! You're clearly an Apple Zombie too. This piece of **** (as a gaming device) is not more powerful than a PS3 or 360. The GPU is not 3.2 with 7 cores, the graphics the same. On top of that no matter what there will never be a real gaming experience on the ipad. Games like Uncharted, Metal Gear, Call of Duty and many more wont be on this overated device, this tablet is more like a status device for people. I wonder will the ipad be able to play Metal Gear Solid 4? That's a 50gb game! Haha! that's too much for the space the ipad have available.

Either your PSVita have a problem or you are not using the different settings options for PSP games including different filters. Google it or go to youtube. It will make you change your thought about it.
I did just start using the filtering...it does make a difference but still dont look that great....but to be fair the only psp games i have on my vita right now is nova and ridge racer.
The one thing i like about the psp over the vita is when you play psp games on the psp it looks better cos the screen is the native rez...where as with the vita its well over the native psp rez and it stretches out the game

Every single portable system with a lcd screen is like this unless you using a classic system without back light. In that case you will only be able to play under direct light.
It also didn't have Iphone/Ipads breathing down their neck 6 years ago did it? The market has changed and the ppl have spoken! Pricedrop or Ipod.

You'll never be able to get a proper gaming experience on an iDevice like you can on a Vita. I wouldn't say never. Also with touch controls like in uncharted were u touch area to jump/grab it feels like I am playing on my iPhone. But people aren't willing to pay 40 for iPhone game to fund a big time development. Uncharted touch controls for jump are optional the game is played using two analog sticks face buttons, and shoulder buttons. People aren't willing to pay $40 for an Iphone game because they aren't worth the money, most ownerst of those phones are not real gamers and just like to pay a few dollars for short size games that last an hour or 2 then are left taking up space.

Imo the problem is highly exaggerated. The games are perfectly playable and look good enough.

You're right people keep exaggerating. What I find funny is that they are not paying attention, the games colors are what doesn't look the same. They are not super blurry like they say. It is something with the color pallet.
