I want to get the game but 10 hours or less of gameplay and over 2 hours of cut scenes really put me off. I know i will enjoy the game but there is no replay valueCrystal-Rush
Then you will play only RPGs with a lot of grinding and multiplayer shooters.

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"]More opinions will be welcome. Please support my topic, probably more people out there have been with the same doubt as me.bob_newman
Why didn't you listen to us in the first thread you made? I'll say it again but then you're on your own. Your disc drive is either loose or too tight, regardless it's rubbing against the discs. That is what is causing the scratches. If it's cosmetic damage and the games still play then you really don't have to worry, but if you're OCD like me (and creating 2 threads about the same thing suggests you might be) then just send it in, get it fixed and stop worrying. The End.

The disc drive too tight or loose? This is the first time i have heard about this, how in the world this coud be that the drive is too tight or too loose? Eh whatever, anyway i am not obligating you to post so don't get offended.

I don't know, maybe a thousand times more. I just want to be sure, it is not my intention to bother you.

Ok first you should know that many people here are overreacting. I'm using a 120GB with my PS3 and i have like three to four games data installed, like 20 demos, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Street Figthter 2 HD remix, 2 PS1 games, a lot of walpapers and themes, PSHome, some HD videos plus a pair of add-ons. And at this moment i have like 25GB of space available. Most installation just requires almost 3GB not 3GB and after you play the games you can just delete the installition. Actually most of my used space is occupied by demos. It is 2010 and right now it is very rare for new games to require installation specially PS3 exclusive. Anyway i recommend you to get the 120gb model and if you want more space with just around $50 dollars you can get a 320 more even a bigger hard drive. THE DECISION IS YOURS.

Ok people i really hope you can help me out and i hope to make another topic asking the same thing. I've been trying to find out if a doubt i have is normal or not. Here's the deal: I want to know if it is normal that my games have deloped little lines on the plastic around the center hole (NOT ON THE TOP WITH ART, THE OTHER SIDE) from putting them in and out of the system. I have asked some people here doing a research to find the answer to this but they have been a mix of: yeah mines have then too, it may be normal wear and doubt about what i am talking about.

People these little lines that the discs have develped are located on the plastic around the hole not on the actual game. In order to notice them you need to look very closely under a light bulb reflection. As i said some people had told me that their games have them and that this is normal wear but i want to find the definitive answer to this before getting upcoming games. Thanks

Wait, we don't trust Game Informer because they gave Other M a 6.25? They're a good site/magazine still. It's all just one person't opinion for reviews. Geez guys, calm down. Maybe we should wait a bit and see what the game is like oh say on Tuesday or something. Maybe it is a flawed experience, that doesn't mean it'll necessarily be bad, nor does it lower my excitement to play the game, but just because it's Metroid doesn't mean everyone's going to like it, especially since Other M tries to mix up the series. It looks like GS and IGN liked it, but that doesn't mean everyone will.

Gameinformer sucks and no one can change that. The magazine almost always gives lower scores to good games and higher to hype upcoming famous franchises. An example their nonsense is the Paper Mario The Thousand Year door for the GameCube.

graphics have a lot of improvment for next gen... the ps3 has a 7900gtish card with 512mb shared ram..... thats like a 50 dollar video card nowadays

there has already been about 5 generations of video cards released since the ps3 came out so a ps4 with the same cell/faster one with a current video card will make a huge difference
ie we can expect the average game to look like crysis if not better...assuming the devs put the time into it

xxgunslingerxx

Consoles are not exactly about the big numbers in spec. Yes it have 512mb RAM but that's because consoles works in a different way than PC. On a PC you have a massive Operating system like Windows 7 which requires like 3GB of RAM just for it to work. That's one of the reasons PC games will always require more RAM. Yes some of them look better with brighter textures but that's not something drastically to say console games suck like some PC gamers use to say. The difference is not like the PS1 and N64 era that was filled with Block y like lego characters and characters like Cloud from Final Fantasy VII that had polygonal hands that looked more like a horse leg.

Not a very good idea. From what I've heard, anytime you buy any electronics that was refurbished, you run the risk of having major problems with it. Buy new.The-Apostle
Yep, you're right. This is specially true if you are getting it from Gamestop.
