You are right. I really don't understand why use the word obsolete. As you said it will work. I don't have a PSP and have been tempting to get one with Metal Gear Peace Walkers but what's holding my at this moment is the future of the UMD. I fear that i may spend a lot of money and end without the ability to play the games in the successor.Obsolete? It's a portable. It will be good as long as the system works, imo. I still use my gba, given the right occasion. The library is big and varied enough to the point that I'm not disappointed in buying it--which I did a few months back. Plus I like picking up games for cheap. Gran Turismo for $20? Good deal, imo.

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"]It is the same xbox. Same graphics and process capabilities, the so called kinect ready is just a port that they could easily use a usb for kinect to work. That port is just an excuse so all the million who already have an Xbox if decide to get kinect then they will need to purchase another adapter. In reality t this new Xbox S is the same old console with a shrink motherboard. They have more usbs but what's the deal? three were ok and you could just spend 5 to 10 dollars and add more via an extension. It's not the same. It's got more features. It is however the SAME price. Which is why I fail to see the problem. I would understand people complaining if they were charging more for it but they are not. What features? 5 USBS instead of 3? Google the inside of the Xbox slim and you will even find that it is the same in the inside. It just play the same good games and have the same capabilities, nothing more. Touch to turn on the unit is nothing new and doesn't add anything to the experience.[QUOTE="Hobbsey07"]
Way to make this and another thread in SW.
But It worth it, since its a huge upgrade from the old Arcade models, plus added features, and being Kinect ready.

The current PSP is a great system but the truth is that more parents get the rival system for kids.i dont think a psp2 would be agreat idea.i mean look at pspgofailed in my vision and well the sales for a psp are quite low.so whats makes sony think that a psp2 would be any good unless they change itdrastically in a good way.i own psp and owned for about a year and a half and im quite im happy about my psp.

These Arcade models are made just to make people think they are getting a good deal buying the cheaper model and in the end the spend a lot more money. This happened before with the Memory cards, the older model harddrives and the Wi-Fi adapters. The harddrive is essential for this gen consoles. But in the end this is the way MICRO$OFT WORKS.
If they are going to launch a PSP2 then why they are going to launch a Kingdom Hearths bundle on September and a new God of War bundle on December? Its widely expected the PSP 2 will be revealed at TGS (especially since the show will be on soon before the 3DS launch).
Though as usual, we probably get a leak of it before then.
