the reason why im not a moron is that i asked a question and then gave my opinion as to the root of my question. so people are being so negative because they know deep inside that im right but they are DIE HARD gears of war fans and have no true reason why they play it. diablovt750

i dont want to offend anybody but we are all entitled to our own opinion. i have always wondered why so many gamers love the Gears of War series. Dont get me wrong the campaign mode is really good but the thing that everybody raves about is the online multiplayer. this right here is the thing that astounds me the most. how can people like Gears when there are so many better games out there like COD. For example in my opinion the online multiplayer for Gears is totally random. you can shoot someone in the head 10 times and they will turn around shoot you once and you die. Also, i feel like there is no strategy involved. you run to the middle pick up the boom shot, everybody fights for the boom shot, and everyone dies around the boom shot and thats the end of the game. and it is always the same thing a race for the boom shot, torque bow whatever good weapon. there is no long range game or outsmarting other players involved. Also either you have to much health or the guns are too weak but it takes an unrealistic amount of firepower to take down an enemy. so Please some1 help me understand why the hell people like it so much? diablovt750
